Last night I was treated to a cheeseburger (on the menu as a cheese stack) which contained no meat but a slab of battered halloumi, Brie and Skegness Blue (what a delight - very creamy) it also had a large onion ring and various burgery salad things. It was splendid. Have any of our resident cheese fans had similar? What other blends might work well?
We’re interested in Alan Judge, a player I have always liked but whom we were priced out of buying several years ago. Half a decade and a major injury later and we ‘might’ get him. ‘nuff said. If Lambert makes a silk purse out what he’s inherited, he’s a genius.
Whilst the new faces are to be welcomed, we now have a ballooning squad. Is there any sign of anyone departing? If too many stick around PL is likely to have difficulty keeping them all interested and on board.
When Manchester United won the inaugral Premier League in 1992/93, the total wage bill for management, players and everyone else employed at the club was £7.5 million (£150,000 a week). By 2017/18 the wage bill was £295.9 million, a rise of 3,801%. #MUFCpic.twitter.com/9ePcZeaY7s
Imagine if we’d sold Dids for the £8m reputedly offered by Leicester and replaced him with a £200k Waghorn. People would have gone nuts but it may have been a great move. The price tag can be irrelevant. Have we forgotten Bart has signed - he hasn’t done that to go back to the third division.
