| News Comment | Sears Joins Braintree at 16:33:56
Work with a daggers fan. Said he added nothing and didn't track back. Not surprised he has been released. Should be ripping up the lower divisions even at age 34. Guessing he will retire at the end of the season. |
| News Comment | Broadhead in Team of the Week at 20:15:25
Apparently he played a blinder despite all the goals he conceded. Shows just how bad the team around him are. |
| News Comment | Paul Mariner: Rock and Roll Footballer at 20:13:38
I was lucky enough to witness Paul and many others of the team come on stage as backing singers for Ian Gillan durin his Gillan Band gig at the Ipswich Gaumont. Can't remember which song but have a feeling it was Birn to Kill as it has a brilliant faster chorus section half way through. Definately a book to buy. |
| News Comment | Celina Out for Three Months With Pericarditis at 19:20:47
Had this last year. Spent over a week in Basildon hospitall heart unit. They initially thought I had a heart attack. Was tested in hospital for covid but negative. Starting to wonder if they used the rubbish Chinese lateral flow tests and maybe covid had set it off as my heart was in excellent health prior. Wish him a full recovery. |
| News Comment | Lambert: If Change is Going to Come Everyone Has to Be Involved at 20:27:31
Receiving an annual share of tv rights may sound attractive now but that income will fall if the greedy six enter a european super league or are allowed to arrange their own pay to view channels. If they gain more power whats to stop them amending future income streams for their own gain. The NFL may have its faults but st least every year the worst team gets to pick tge best young talent and thus gives each team a chance to shine. |
| News Comment | Bury Expelled From EFL as Bolton Have 14 Days to Complete Takeover at 08:17:35
Ayacca, whilst I agree the TV money should be more evenely distributed, it would not solve the problem as wages would just increase accordingly. Look at the premier league. Completely awash with money and no club appears to worry about future sustainability. They are all chasing a dream of further greed. Us fans are also to blame. The biggest culprits are the dark suits who run football and get their easy CBE and OBE's. They are the ones who in partnership with the owners who have allowed the sustainabilty rules and fit abd proper rules to be circumnavigated. However these nameless people will just continue on their merry go round of fat salaries on company boards and government committees. Football as we know it is screwed. |
| News Comment | Rotherham Offer Ward Contract at 00:13:30
Clearly a player who has talent. However he came off the bench on many occasions and looked great then started the next game and disappeared. Needs to find consistency. Feel like he is good enough to continue a good career at this level though. Good luck, but not against us though. |
| News Comment | Town Launching Sensory Packs at 17:56:31
My daughter attended a town game a while back and burst out crying when we scored due to the noise. We have since had her diagnosed with autism and now understand the sensory issues. Well done Town for addressing the issue. |
| News Comment | Beattie Statue Design Revealed at 11:42:13
Excellent. I was lucky to have seen him play but I was young and the memory has faded. There are many who have not been as lucky. I wonder if the club could put together a disc or download of him best moments with profits going towards the statue costs. Would be great to see him playing again. |
| News Comment | McGoldrick: I Was Open to Staying at Town But Hurst Said No at 11:33:39
Lets not kid ourselves. Even if we had given him another year, he would not have been motivated to get fit. He said it himself. Having no club made him really work on his fitness. Being paid by Ipswich should be a minimum requirement for any pro to be as fit as possible (obvious injuries asside). Releasing him saved us money and probably saved his career. Wish he could have been as passionate whilst with us as he is a brilliant player when fit and on form. |
| News Comment | Accrington Stanley 1-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 17:39:11
Sorry its all my fault. I really thought we would put in a performance today. I totally forgot that we are always pathetically powder puff against smaller teams. I stupidly put some money on us to win as the bookies had made Acc Stanley favourites. I also put money on Colchester to win at home against the bottom team and Ayr Utd ( my Scottish team) to win at home against the bottom club. Not one of them won. I hate football and I hate myself for being so stupid. |

| News Comment | Bramble: Project Going From Strength to Strength at 20:51:13
michael99. Try thinking about the point you put forward. I expect Titus is probably well of, hence he could just swan around enjoying life. He has however chosen to give something back to society instead. many in his position dont. Well done Titus. And Michael I hope you have a long and happy life. |
