Why were they wasting time during the second half. They effectively needed four wins out of four to have any outside chance of keeping their season alive. In the second half they probably had the clearer of the goal scoring chances. Two world class saves from our keeper kept us in it. Just thought they appeared happy to get a draw. Some brilliant moves again from us but just lacking that final killer pass. For all our play we didn't make their keeper make too many saves. |
| Forum Thread | No threat in the middle of the box at 09:45 11 Apr 2024
Earlier in the season we scored loads of goals from cut back passes into the centre of the box. In the last month the crosses and cut backs are still coming into the box but seems to be behind the first attacker on the five yard area or too far in front of the next line of attack which appears to be just outside the area. Everything around the penalty area is being cleared by the defence. So many missed opportunities. Also, why hoof the ball up to Moore if there is no one either side of him to pick up the head downs. First half last night was good but just seemed to run out of options second half. [Post edited 11 Apr 9:47]

| Forum Thread | Best outcome at 09:24 31 Mar 2024
Still think Leeds are the best squad but surely the best outcome is for us and Leicester to go up and Leeds to miss out totally (although can't see that happening) Leicester will then start the Prem' with points deductions . Wouldn't mind WBA making it up through play offs. Norwich to miss out totally would be nice but they are on form at the moment |

Graham Paddons Beard Posted 4 hours ago The Binners can't cope with this success. The cup final approach to a simple league game in December showed that. Their CEO marching around laying hands on the infirm, the "Ultras" and the ceremonial throwing of the beer cans were pathetic in every sense of the word My kids are 30 and 28. In their football supporting time they have seen us win leagues, been to Anfield, Old Trafford, the Emirates in the league and seen us win at The Etihad. Seen us win at Wembley (that's the new one by the way) Every time we play the Binners in anything meaningful, we win. My kids have an interest in the World Cup and European championship because norwich players are in it playing for international teams They know success and think nothing of Ipswich because they have been nothing but cannon fodder in the few times our paths have meaningfully crossed Imagine a 30 year old Binner. All they will be taught is about black and white success and how Norwich "hent never won nothin" My kids got bored going to civic receptions. [Post edited 31 Mar 0:01]

Totally deserved goal and started by yet another pathetic dive by a Leeds player. Well done ref for not falling for it. Byron and James dives were embarrassing. |

Get in there. Well done Watford. All all started by yet another pathetic dive by a Leeds player. |
| Forum Thread | Watford playing well at 20:30 29 Mar 2024
But Leeds doing a Leeds and falling over at every opportunity. The James dive was embarrassing. Don't know why they don't just get on with Thier normal game as they have probably the best attacking unit in the championship. Just get the feeling Leeds will somehow fluke a penalty later in the game. |
| Forum Thread | Lucky omens at 08:53 6 Mar 2024
I'm sure some of you have lucky rituals before a game. Same scarf, pants, touching the Bobby Robson or Sir Alf statues before kick off My wife has attended two games previously this season based on me advising how many goals we scored (and conceded). I did joke that it is a ritual for some female fans to swing their bras around their heads when we scored. We proceeded not to score in either game. Last night for comfort reasons only she informed me that she had removed her bra on the way into the ground. At half time things are looking ominous at nil nil. What a second half. Do I now have a legitimate reason to suggest that this was due to her earlier actions and nothing to do with how the team played. As we all know that's how football actually works, rituals and omens. ,(or am I just a sad old dinosaur) |
| Forum Thread | Injuries at 19:45 2 Mar 2024
Hoping that the Burns and Broadhead injuries aren't too bad. If so it may be a blessing in disguise as they will be fresher for the run in. Any updates? Luongo hopefully will be ok for Tues or Saturday. He will benefit from a week off. Jack Taylor has recently had a few weeks off. As has Clarke albeit I think he has been playing injured for a while. Assuming Hurst won't be playing this season. If he does it's just a bonus. Morsey had the enforced break recently due to his red card tally. Hope we're not too leggy on Tuesday due to the Plymouth journey (did they fly in the end) ? [Post edited 2 Mar 19:48]

Wasn't aware that Ryan Frazer is out injured for a month. Knee injury during last game. He has been flying for them this season. Not one to celebrate injuries but that has got to weaken their attacking options. |
| Forum Thread | Bristol V leeds at 20:39 2 Feb 2024
Leeds forwards far too fast for Bristol's defence. Too many errors at the back as well. Would love Bristol to sneak a goal but be stunned if Bristol can hold out for ninety minutes. Leeds players falling over in the box as usual. They are good enough without cheating it. |

Ran his heart out first half and great reaction for the goal. |
| Forum Thread | Transfer window at 14:07 23 Dec 2023
We have been good this season but once again poor at the back and their keeper having a day off. Look slow and tired today against probably the best team in the division. Thought this would be the toughest game of the season. Probably best to have this performance before the transfer window. Clearly shown where we need to spend our money. |
| Forum Thread | Xmas scenes yesterday at 21:37 17 Dec 2023
I particularly liked walking over the bridge from the station yesterday to be greeted by the a large family from Norwich. There was about four hundred of them and they had all gone to the station pub car park, I assume for a Xmas get together. Brothers, sisters, cousins, mums and dads. They were wearing matching Xmas outfits, all in green and yellow. Lovely bunch, singing Xmas songs and waving at us as we walked down towards the stadium. I assume they had a good day out as they were still around after the game partying like they had been given a great unexpected gift. |
| Forum Thread | Shots on target at 00:12 17 Dec 2023
Something I've noticed lately is that we don't make the oppositions goalkeepers save many. We either miss the target totally or score Can't think of many recent games where a keeper has made multiple good saves. Today I think Gunn had one good save and one standard save. Don't remember the Watford keeper doing much except goal kicks or picking the ball out of the net. [Post edited 17 Dec 2023 21:39]

Great comeback today. Just been reading the pink un website under today's games. Apparently a couple of their fans were watching our game. The comments from kick off and at two nil down are just great. We are getting spanked. At two all the lemon sucking is great. We got a result due to Birmingham having to make subs and they were tired. Please read the three pages, comedy Gold. Try not to comment. Don't dignify them, they are suffering enough. |
