| News Comment | Cook: We're a Soft Touch That Gives Goals Away at 23:16:48
I'm not even that disappointed anymore to be honest because his fate is already sealed and he knows it. The ONLY question now is when is the trigger pulled and who replaces him ……… Christ Ipswich…. Why can't we just have nice things ……just for a while ….. |
| News Comment | Goldson Loan Deal Runs Out of Time at 23:07:56
If there was one season , just one season , and one deadline where we had to get things done it was this one , and we failed. Mark my words, come two months time this will haunt us in ways we haven't even seen yet , is say I'm surprised, but we al know better ! |

Will happily take todays result nd a well done where its due. I wont go over the arguments that we are all aware of, but i must ask this. What the hell happens when the loan signings go bck next year. No AM( Wouldnt lose sleep over that one but he is useful on his day) pringle and frazer. Any progress made ( which is none) would revert back to squre one when the performers go back to their club. Whoever comes in should have a stipulation in their contract to play their position a certain percentage of the season. If we would have said to Sears upon signing he will no longer be striker but a winger, would he have signed so quickly? Chist, if we sign goal keeper in the summer He'll probbly end up playing Center midfield...... |
| News Comment | Six Youngsters Offered Pro Deals at 16:57:20
Not that any of them will ever see the first team. Why blood promising youngsters when you can get other teams rejects after a transfer window. Doesn't matter . The brilliant football they are trained to play , and it is brilliant, will be trained out of them by the time they hit a bench of the first team . Play football on the ground at your peril .... |

Good article that. There has been so much negative lets do a post run on your single best memory. Mine was play-off semi-final against Bolton. That nght was the single most spectacular night of football i have ever witnessed. Sure there were amazing moments the season after, magic, the whole thing, but THAT night , could it ever be repeated. When magilton scored in to the top of the goal, , i momentarally left my body and experienced as close to euphoria as I've ever experienced. The closest i come to that at the moment is if im able to sneak my burger in my pocket through the turnstyles, small victories............. |
| News Comment | Town 2-2 Bristol City - Match Report at 17:52:50
i was there today. God almighty. You go up against a team with a back 4 who average 6ft 3 and what do we do, hoof it or dink it. It looked like their back 4 were having a training and drill session!!!!!! You know that if the ball even enters our half then we are going to hoof it. I've said it on here every time and i get a lot of stick for it, If you are a team having a bad season, on a bad run, cant score, cant stop conceding then play Ipswich. We break other teams ruts like no team on earth, anyone in the bottom 6 must be itching to play us. But you know what....... next match, i bet my mortgage on the fact that the back four will be unchanged. PS. Douglas this seasons Tabb , undroppable it seems! Rant over. |
| News Comment | Reading 5-1 Town - Match Report at 22:28:29
well...... the trouble is you see...is that you could place a very safe £100 bet on who our central defenders will be next next game. Now obv Chambers and Smith cant be dropped, i mean come on, chances of that happening is absolute zero. Maybe Knudsun will be replaced by parr im sorry, a fist pump does not a good defender make. Lets not forget chambers is firstly a defender THEN a captain. even at 3-1, 18 mins until our first sub?????? This could though, on reflection, be out best result of the season and heres why. We were getting carried away, MM was getting lazy. Players thought they had one foot in the PL. We needed this result tonight more than we needed 3 points. Now things have to change...thoughts fellow tractor boys????? |
| News Comment | Town 2-3 Brighton - Match Report at 17:49:15
refreshing to see some level headed people on here today. frustrating yes but to be fair Brighton were simply awesome in the first half. I think the Mick got it wring today putting on a kid against Lua Lua as he was destroyed.pairing skuse and Douglas i think were to slow a combo, they were played out the game for most of it unfortunately. However our Polish boy looked good, cool and calm, question is who do we drop if we are to play him. Well done to Sears who is going to have the season of his carrier . PS. If there was any question as to who our number two goalie should be...well i think that was well and truly settled today. Onward and upwards. COYB. |

You kinda got to ask, does it get any better than this??squad has made unreal progression this year, got a future worldy for a year, THE top strike force in the league on long terms. i mean, what else could we want,if im being greedy a proper right back but christ, we've all been waiting years for this, years and years.....enjoy it people....enjoy it. |
| News Comment | Town Targeting Two at 00:10:13
lets not forget that for all our excellent play today, Bart actually won us that game with his stop at the very end, and collected a lot of crossed balls right in to his hands. A very very good understated performance |
| News Comment | Murphy Signs New Deal at 20:53:22
Well i said it didnt i, the moaning builds to a crescendo, then mick pulls a rabbit out of the hat. This particular little rabbit was the english league top goal scorer last season......please everybody start moaning again so we have ANOTHER bit of good news......COYB |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Murph on Loan? Ridiculous! at 21:25:35
My turn. The thing that worries me is not the striker situation actually. People were calling for Micks blood the couple of days before he made the best bit of transfer business in a generation, whilst at the same time getting a young, attacking talent in ( which people have been clawing for) and also a great striker for free. The season has not started, Mick has not finished. I notice a pattern, We all moan, it builds to a crescendo, then Mick pulls a rabbit out of the hat. Any way what worries me more than anything is the 'Tabby was different class' Now that scares the living s**t out of me going in to a new season. Dont think i remember a player being lionised like tabb having produced so little. Hard worker yes, different class.......le fondra is different class, Bamford is different class..... Tabb??? come on....what are the pictures he has to blackmail Mick McCarthy ........ |
