The feeling we have today must have been how Bayern Munich felt after dominating the game against Norwich and losing. Well, that's the magic of the FA Cup and the reason its the best cup competition in the world. Embarrassing day for Town but we are not the first and won't be the last to succumb to giant killers. Let's pick ourselves up dust ourselves down and concentrate on promotion. Well done Maidstone all in all on the day you deserved it. |

Yes, it was A disappointing performance but these sorts of performances happen to the best of managers . Sir Alf got a few spankings in his time here, and so did Sir Bob, however the mark of a good manager is how you get your team to respond and in KMc I have every faith he will pick them up, dust them down and start all over again. We are still second and even if the worst happens and we don't go up automatically it's one helluva achievement to even qualify for the playoffs, considering where we were two years ago. Town fans have so much to be proud of regarding ITFC and the progress made has been stunning Keep the Faith everyone and Happy Christmas! |

Yes they are scum. Hideous tossers from a shít town, in a stand they never paid for , with 20,000 new fans and an obsession with cups nobody plays for anymore, against European countries that no longer exist , in stadiums they knocked down years ago .

Well, tomorrow is nearly here and it got me thinking about our last promotion which was nearly 23 years ago (unbelievably 23 years and next to nothing to cheer! )I went to Wembley with the rest of my family which included my daughter's boyfriend,(who is now her husband) My daughter now lives in Leicester, which is where the then boyfriend now son in law is from Although a Leicester fan he has been to quite a few Town games with me over the years. Well, the family is down from Leicester and the son-in-law is going so Im trying to see all the lucky omens I can, and here's hoping that the fact he attended our last promotion brings the luck again tomorrow.

Phil, I hope this is ok to put this on the board.
My son-in-law has asked if I can post this as he has just become the owner of the car sales site formally known as Astons, which for those of you who are unsure where it is its opposite the corporation dump in Portmans Walk and consequently yards away from Portman Road
On Match days he will be offering secure car parking at £7.50 per car (cash only)and parking will be available this coming Friday against Derby.

we have to enjoy our crumbs of comfort where we can as long-suffering Town fans but the beer will taste that bit sweeter tonight as Norwich are relegated and we managed a 4-0 win in front of over 26000 fans. Just enjoy the day we don't get that many!!! [Post edited 30 Apr 2022 17:11]

OK, I'm going to throw it out here, why the changes from a team that won 3-0 on Tuesday and most people could see Thompson was very tired on Tuesday so why pick him today, I'm ready for the downvotes but I McKenna still obviously has a lot to learn. |
