Ipswich Town 2-1 AFC Wimbledon - Match Report
at 22:09:54

Strange tactics first half. Lovely win and good finishing from both strikers. some good performances and then Donacien. I'm not damning him but my god he is a tough watch most of the time. Well played Wolf and Wilson.

Much-Changed Team at Notts County

Maybe the surface as Playford Road is the problem. Certain players with continual injury players have left the club and played basically injury free. Williams, Webster and Mcgoldrick spring to mind.

New Judge Bid Rejected Report
at 11:54:41

Judge was probably never going to stay. Evans wanted season ticket sales. He got the exact right amount, just under the 12,000. Judge gets game time and put back in the shop window. Town make a little bit of money from the sale. We've got about 8 midfielders who are probably good enough for league 1. Lambert would have known this as well so actually his broken wrist at least allows the right players game time.

New Judge Bid Rejected Report

Well, he didn't score when he easily should have, on more than one occasion. I don't want him to go but, Huws is possibly a better player. It would also free up wages for a CB which we are sorely lacking.

Woolfenden: Our Aim is to Win the League
at 18:13:45

I've been a town fan for around 28 years and was gutted when we got relegated but, when I got over it (pretty quickly), I started looking forward to the new season with a sense of excitement that I haven't felt for a long time. For me, football is about supporting your local team and local players. We are in the forced but luxury situation of supporting our team with our players, the product of our youth system, in a league where they stand a chance. If it doesn't work out then I hope at least that we can all be proud again.

Town Closing in On Garbutt Loan

Very happy with this. We cant just flog Kenlock there for a whole season. Besides if the guys contract runs out in 2020 and he is any good, we can just sign him then for free. So reeeally, its not even a loan, more like a season long trial.

Chambers: Big Pre-Season
at 17:28:42

Jonny Williams is a hell of a player, i've been thinking about him recently and hoping that they wouldn't win the play offs so that we could get him but the silly boogers released him anyway. I know he's injury prone, but he is also frikkin good.

Skuse: Horrible, Horrible Day
at 09:44:01

I’d rather be in division 1 with Paul Lambert than in the Championship with McCarthy. That might sound stupid but next season all of ITFC’s kids will hopefully be playing with freedom and a style of football that will allow them to grow into the potential that they have all shown signs of. Another season of struggling in the Championship may have well have just meant journeymen and experienced championship bargains pushing the younger ones to the bench and under 23’s. If they and Lambert are good enough, we could well see a rise back into the championship and then who knows.

Town Closing in on Fulham Youngster
at 22:04:44

I don’t get what people’s problems with loans of youngsters are. If any of our youngsters have a really good season they would be sold straight away. Every player might as well be on a one year contract. No loyalty in football. Apart from of course Bartos, Chambers and in recent history Carlos Edwards.

If we can manage to get all of Dozzell’sEngland teammates together and mix them up with the likes of Bart, Chambers, Skuse and Waghorn we could have a very exciting season. Welcome 🙏

Wilder: Waghorn Valuation Too Steep for Blades
at 09:28:28

We can probably see why Lampard took over at Derby now. FL: “Marcus I will be looking at bringing in a quality strike partner for MW, how much can I spend? ME: “sorry old bean, we will be selling Waggy and you can coach one of the youngsters.” FL: “Riiiiiiiiiiiiight...” (door quietly shuts as he walks slowly backwards out of office).

FL: “Mr Morris, how much money can I have?” MMorris : “as much as you want.” FL: “give me that pen!”

Hurst "Surprised By One or Two Things" That Are "Nowhere Near Good Enough"
at 06:28:27

I’m just thinking who is it out of Nydam, Downes, Folami, Kenlock etc?

He has talked about Wolfenden and Dozzell in reasonably good terms, so maybe not them. And who out of the senior squad aren’t pulling their weight? From the training camp photos and vids it looked as though Skuse and Garner were slightly disinterested. But, maybe Ward or Sears. Perhaps our great leader Chambers is fit enough, but is he good enough?

It’s a bit like watching a TV show when you know someone is going to get killed off and you just hope it isn’t going to be one o your favourites. Which for me would be Bart (safe), Dozzell, Downes or Waghorn. Any of the others and I might not be that bothered.
