ArnieM Excellently put. Remember Col Tim Collins “ But if you are ferocious in battle remember to be magnanimous in victory.” |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 2-1 Bristol Rovers - Match Report at 17:34:29
Ugh. Didn't enjoy that one bit. GK doesn't command, Ward and Chambers very slow and vulnerable, Dozzell not decisive enough and get caught dithering, Edwards didn't seem to fancy it and Jackson has little or no strength and no positional sense whatsoever. Woolfenden seems to have gone backwards this season. Apart from that passing was slow and poor. The Team needs a Talisman and out of the strange group we have, that has to be Downes if he chooses to stay on the pitch. |

If we are relying on Southend to give a positive view of the area we stand no chance. It's like a war zone there. |

Remember when MCCarthy came in with the offer of a £1m bonus if he kept us up? Bruce would seem a good bet on that basis. Outsider - Burley and Holland. Remember Kevin's Drive past The ground tomorrow at 2.30. |
| News Comment | Blues Legend Beattie Dies at 16:01:13
With today's modern medicine he would have played far more games and have recognised as the truly great player he was. So sad to lose him and my thoughts are with his wife Margaret and family |

Desperately boring transfer window again. Nothing ever happens. I suppose we now have to wait until January. |
| News Comment | Knudsen to Make World Cup Debut as Denmark Face Croatia at 18:07:39
Can't understand why the qualified and knowledgeable coaches of Denmark can't agree with the few fans of Ipswich that think Knudsen is rubbish. Of course these fans couldn't be wrong...... could they? |
| News Comment | Burnley Duo on McCarthy's Wish List at 18:14:06
Despite their profound wish to ply for the blues, I have notified Messi, Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic, Rooney et al that they can't come play for us as some of supporters consider 30+ is over the hill. Shame as those same people want us to sign "names" which even if Marcus was stupid enough to invest half of his personal wealth ( would we see the same commitment from the nay Sayers) still would not get the bargains they have made on FIFA or CM. Success comes from a team that works to compensate other team members weaknesses. MM brings a team together, others buy and buy to find an unhappy group resenting others who make the team . |
| News Comment | McGoldrick Facing Another Spell on the Sidelines at 13:41:59
Get him gone ..... But of course the injury spans the transfer window so even if anyone wanted him no way are they doing that now. Let him go pay his contract up and stop the deluded believing we have a superstar. After all these injuries he is less a player due to time spent sitting on his a@@e rather than playing |
