Tomorrow's Crowd?
at 10:05 31 Jan 2020

Back over for my 1st match of 2020 tomorrow. Really looking forward to it and hoping we will put on a decent performance after Tuesday nights shambles. Plus the added bonus of a few beers in Arcade Tavern before the match and plenty more after.

What's the expected crowd tomorrow?

No excuses now Lambert
at 19:07 4 Jan 2020

He has got his wish now, with less matches to play than most of the teams around us in the league, plus a decent (on paper) squad that should more than match our rivals.

Now results and performances have to start improving.

The players and management should hang their heads in shame at losing to a league 2 reserve team.

Terrible league....may give us half a chance.
at 17:27 26 Dec 2019

I've just had a look at the form table for the last 5 matches.

The top 5 teams have only won 8 matches out of 25 in this league, compare that with the Premier League where the top 2 have won that many in 10 matches...….or the top 5 have won 16 out of 25.

Premier League, you're killing our game
at 07:55 17 Dec 2019

Shows the massive gulf in football when Spuds pay off for sacking their manager is reportedly 2/3rds of Ipswich's turnover for the year.

The Premier League is ruining our football with it's (and player / agent) greed.

FAO anyone driving to France this week

They have started blocking the fuel depots in some areas, so some filling stations are limiting customers to 25 or 30 euros. Long queues have also been reported in certain regions.

Massive couple of weeks
at 03:48 22 Nov 2019

5 matches against the top 5 teams.

I've not been a big fan of Lambert's selection / resting of players, especially over the last 3 weeks, but, if we are top at the end of this spell then I think we would all have to agree that he made the right choices.

Downes.......
at 07:46 9 Nov 2019

I'm hoping that he starts today, for an hour or so and then Lambert takes him off, saying he has a minor niggle, that will keep him out of the U21 games.

Sensible politics question
at 09:16 3 Nov 2019

I don't normally comment on the threads about Tories / Labour, because the older I get, the more disillusioned I have become with UK politics (and more recently, worldwide politics).

My question is why a 3rd party cannot compete with the 2 main parties, for any length of time? I know the Lib Dems and UKIP have had some success recently, but neither for any length of time. The Conservatives are in such a mess, it is beyond belief that Labour are in an even worse state, that they haven't capitalised on this ages ago.

Well done RNLI - exactly what I would have said

Although, after receiving an invoice for £7 for the lilo, I would have sent the cheque in full settlement, along with a £7,000 invoice for the rescue operation.

I have been using AVG for several years, but a couple of people have recently mentioned that is why my laptop is so slow.

Can anyone on here recommend any decent Antivirus packages?

Typical, whenever I decide to watch a "big match" it is dross. Although, as I write this Spuds score!
