With Loungo heading for a scan, Travis could be our signing of the season. For his first game he was immense and ran things in midfield, I think him and Morsy will be excellent together. Taylor and Broadhead stuttered all afternoon and Edmunson was superb all afternoon Great goals for Town and so pleased for Jackson who worked his socks off as usual.
Just as an aside I'd love to see Harry Clarke start a game as striker!!! |

Our worst performance of the season. No shots on target, and a very poor performance by all except Walton. We could have easily conceded 5 tonight. Some of you may think sacking the manager was a good thing, tonight we looked completely rudderless with basic mistakes being made all over the park. I pity the poor sod coming in, it's one hell of a task, Not sure I want to watch at the weekend. |

All in all a good display from Town, who improved after the break. Clements is making a strong case for claiming his spot in the team as a regular and get up and back well, giving good cover when required, a little more experience and he could easily of had a goal rather than cross. Edwards is frustrating, he obviously has talent but with no real end result of goals to show for it. I would like to see Chaplin start in his place, we always look more lively up front when he plays, oh and Celina was a real mixed bag yesterday, I like him on the wing with Chaplin in the whole behind Bonne. Good display by Walton too yesterday we at last have a No.1. |

Game of two halves, some poor individual performances. Poor decision making from Hladky. Burgess was owned all afternoon, the problems appear to be mental strength after taking the lead. Something to work on quickly. |

Almost inexplicable poor team performance after last week, side never really got going, disjointed and some very basic mistakes creeping back in against a poor side. 1 step forwards and 2 back, onto the next game Tuesday and hope for improvement. |

What has been missing, holding a lead, a clean sheet and good old fashioned fighting for the ball towards the end were all present today. Still a way to go of course but there were good signs today, Donacien was excellent and no errors from our keeper or centre backs. A great win and something to build upon, looking forward to the next game! |

To be honest I thought Donacien was awful today and Kenlock, although he put in loads of effort was also poor. I worry about our keeper Holy who takes too many risks, but all in all a fair result and I thought Skuse was easily our MOM today, he and Chambers always get stick on here but apart from their second goal our centre backs were good.
I have never seen what people see in Judge, I would like to see more of Huws instead.
Still a fair way to go with this side but some promising signs that things are and will get better. |

Thought it was a typical game of 2 halves, Murphy for me was the stand out player in the first half along with Mings. Ran out of steam and fell apart when Skuse and Bishop departed!!! |

I think the last 2 draws may have stopped the rot for Town, we now need to push on against Cardiff and show much more of a killer instinct.

I have been the supporter of 'stability' at Town & we have changed our manager far too often in recent years. I was a great admirer of Jewell when he was a Wigan but he couldn't take the pressure and quit when things got tough on and off the field.
Jewell had passion but that appears to be sadly lacking now, he has the demeanour of a 'spent force'.
Someone else said it, the clock has started ticking tonight, is Jewell up to turning this around? I fear the answer is no!
We will have to wait and see, but I think if we hit mid October in this situation then it's time for ME to act. |

I think the next 5 games will be vital to our season, yes we played well and there are some positives to be had, sadly no points though!
The point has been made about new players and it will take time. I don't like the idea of frequently changing managers but even I'm getting fed up with the PJ excuses show.

A young side will always have an off day, we have lost to this years champions in my opinion, heads dropped at 3-0 there's no doubt. WE the supporters must keep faith in this side, and stay behind them, Jewell must stop picking players that don't perform, JET is one of those players and now must concentrate on getting players in. I've been saying for some time scoring at the end of all our possession is a real problem and at least one striker is a priority. I knew the moaners would start to appear today, don't get me wrong I'm not happy, but it's one game this season and we were beaten by a much better side, but only in the second half!!! |
