Dickie was a disgrace all game. Rolling around at the slightest of touches and then shooting up to his feet right away to shout at ref when he didn't get his desired outcome. Happened 3/4 times, very embarrassing. Don't know why refs allow players to try and deceive them like that

Not good enough again tonight, flashbacks of last year!
Back three made totos performance look good.
Lacklustre in the midfield with no real steel, not getting to the ball before the bounce and being beaten to every second ball.
Keane looked off the pace, positioning was terrible.
Need Downes back ASAP and some more physicality from somewhere.
Think we should go back to a simple 442 and get a solid base of consistent starters.
Refereeing in this league is woeful, how there wasn't a yellow for time wasting I'll never know.
Let's stick with lambert and the boys and remember it's not a big disaster...If we are being honest we knew this year wouldn't be simple!!

Another good day at Portman Road! Comfortable today and didn't really need to get out of third gear for the win. Holy made a couple of brilliant saves and we looked good going forwards! A little shaky at the back at times but at the end of the day we took the 3 goals and a clean sheet!

Positives:
1)Sunderland are meant to be the big boys of the league and for the vast majority, we out played them.
2) Jackson's consistent non stop pressure will cause havoc at this level
3) Downes is looking good on and off the ball. Also thought Skuse swept up well.
4)Garbutt looks a player. Hopefully nothing serious...
5) we are hunting in packs. At this level that will really help us.
6) PORTMAN ROAD WAS ROCKING
Negatives:
1) 1-1
2) Holy doesn't seem to command his area well. I think the goal could've been avoided.

Didz is a great player on his day but is just injured far too often. We can't continue to pay his wages for a few games a season.
