I've been to the Bernabeu a few times as I have some family there. It's an incredible structure but it has a vast and disconnected feel from the game in my view. It's like a hybrid of TV and real life. Maybe because the ground is dozens of very small blocks of fans. There are only a couple of proper tribunes.
There are some tremendous fan bases in Spain. Real Madrid are not one of them, in my view. |

Has to be queen of the South. Their mascot is a giant border collie and their claim to fame is that they are the only club mentioned in the bible. |

Are they repurposing earlier round prize money or addressing the small club impact?
Giving Man United or Man City £3m every year and starving your Mildenhall towns etc feels pretty mean spirited.
As others have said, feels like the FA cup has irrecoverably lost its way. |

Ran in 2019. It's an absolutely ridiculous day. Lines of people 4/5 deep shouting at you for 26 miles. Spots like the Narrow, Tower Bridge etc are totally surreal.
My other half is running so am supporting her for once. Better only have a few pints on the run around various care package points!

He's struggled for weeks. As has Chaplin. Both had amazing seasons but that spark is just struggling atm.
We are top with 3 to play. Come what may it's been a remarkable first season back in the Championship. |

I did the Pennine Way last year and walked past the Tan Hill.
The Pennine Way was a truly incredible experience. I rushed it a bit as did it 12 days which is 23 miles a day. Massively recommend.
The Lairig Ghru looks amazing in the Cairngorms. I plan to run it in a few weeks from Aviemore to Braemar.
I have done some of the more esoteric marathons, ultra marathons and ridiculous challenges in the world. I did the Pikes Peak marathon in Colorado last year. I did ok and found the altitude pretty good. It was my first time over 4,000m in a race. [Post edited 12 Apr 8:58]

4 days of NHS budget for context.
I agree it's a lot but it's an industry of scale and operating leverage. Will always have 3/4 big players making lots of money due to high barriers of entry.
Defence and oil is where the misery is IMHO. |

I've done Scafell a few times. I did it once during the trail marathon that starts in Keswick and goes up to the summit and back down via the Corridor route which is actually a bit of a scramble.
The Yorkshire 3 peaks is a fun day, I'd also suggest the Cairngorm plateau for unbelievable hiking and climbing. [Post edited 11 Apr 22:43]

It's done pretty well considering it literally only delivers pizza menus, council waffle and NHS letters.
