I know you're tired, but find the energy from somewhere tomorrow, chase every player down, get all the second balls, bust a gut for every pass through, block every shot with every sinew, stretch for every cross. Then you've got 2 weeks off. And Town fans, urge them to do all of the above, cheer and encourage, sing your hearts out. COYBs! |

Promotion to the Premier League? Involvement in one of the most exciting races for promotion to the Premier up to the last day? Even in the worst case scenario involvement in the play-offs. Like all of us, I have no idea what it holds for us, but I'm excited to hopefully find out, especially when I recall all those seasons where I was waiting for the season to be over from about February onwards. What a time to be a Town fan! |

We have a performance like that every now and again, hopefully on that ratio that's the last for this season. 5 games to try and get 5 wins and see us over the line. We've done it this season already, let's do it again. [Post edited 6 Apr 18:20]

Someone I know has just asked me how much an ITFC ball signed by some of the current squad might be worth asking they've won it and they're a Forest fan. Have to admit I don't really know, but I assume they'd be better to wait and see if we go up as it might be worth more. Anyone here have any idea how much these things fetch? |

As she was working earlier, she heard a little voice in the garden singing "Allez allez allez... ITFC, we're the blue army". She couldn't help but chuckle. Great to hear the next generation being dragged up proper. |

That was abysmal. Second to almost everything, misplaced passes, half-baked challenges, woeful defending. Yet to find the character to win that is a sign of a great team, when others would've just let the game wind down and get to the dressing room as quickly as possible. Then afterwards not to let the late winner distract from how bad they were. Held their hands up and I'm sure they'll work their socks off to make sure it doesn't happen again. Also we'll done to Rotherham, they didn't deserve to lose that, but I guess that's the way it goes when you're down there. |
| Forum Thread | Phenomenal effort to be keeping pace with Leicester, Leeds and Southampton. at 17:33 17 Feb 2024
Premier League teams in all but name with their resources, strength in depth and having bounced back excellently. All those from the rest of the Championship having a chuckle because we've supposedly "blown it" and yet none of them have got anywhere near the 3 that came down over the course of season, yet there we are, keeping up. I've not given up hopes of automatic, but I never dreamt in million years that we would get near them at the start of the season and the top 3 are relentless. Whether we go up or not, this season has been incredible. |
| Forum Thread | Not sure how I feel about this. at 18:16 15 Feb 2024
https://www.westbromnews.co.uk/2024/02/12/ipswich-town-fans-told-by-jed-wallace- Wallace was right to let fans know it was a genuine injury, but I'm still slightly annoyed at the condescending tone and the "be better than that" comment. It happened during a frustrating afternoon when West Brom were doing everything they could to waste time, which arguably they're better than that. At the time I thought it was just more s%*^housery, as I suspect most of the ground did, especially from far away. As soon as it became apparent that it was serious I think most of our support reacted with grace and sympathy, without the need of a player from a team taking 20 seconds over every throw-in telling us "be better than that." It also surely goes without saying that we all wish Dike well with his recovery, it sounds like he's had dreadful luck in that department. |

2-2 at home against a promotion rival. Then that run. History repeating itself? We're up against tougher teams this time round, but we're actually in a better position. |

Defended solidly enough apart from their 2 chances (which is all they got) and created so many chances. But it really highlights how much we need a more clinical finisher. Fingers crossed one will be incoming soon. |

There doesn't seem to have been one since the Leicester game. Is there any reason for that or are they somewhere I've missed them? |
