He's not our player and I doubt he will be here next season. Therefore it's not worth persevering with him. Scoring just 1 goal in 25 is an appalling record. |

At least you can see something. |

Same here. Not a good start. |
| Forum Reply | Hands up if you booed yesterday at 12:37 23 Sep 2018
Nope, never booed the team off and wasn't going to start yesterday. I applauded the players that came to applaud the fans and will continue to do so. We're in a serious predicament and Hurst needs to get a grip on things quick, but creating a toxic atmosphere for players who, to me, look very low on confidence really isn't going to help. We may not have won a game but we are also yet to lose at Portman Road so let's not make it a place our own players fear. |

God, what a day. I was 15 and at the game with my dad. Obviously the Millwall animals ripped the away sections to shreds but walking home through the PR car park we passed some little Millwall fella giving it the big one on the street corner, offering-up everybody who walked past. One of our fans, walking by, kept quiet and discreetly flicked his cigarette at him. The fag butt hit the Millwall lad on the head, he retaliated and knocked the (much bigger) Town fan spark out with one punch. He was face down on the tarmac. I remember being really worried for him as it didn't look pretty. I'm glad football violence is largely under control now. It's the height of stupidity. |

To put this is context... VVV Venlo are a small club by Eredivisie standards. They've spent much more time in the second division over the past few decades so the club is doing quite well to be 12th with a ten point cushion from the relegation play-offs. Steijn won the second division last year and it looks like Eredivisie status is safe this year so he's doing a good job. That's said, Steijn would be a huge risk but I certainly wouldn't be averse to taking a chance on a foreign coach with fresh ideas over the same old faces on the English managerial merry-go-round. |

It wouldn't look so bad if the logo was designed to be more harmonious with the shirt, so to speak. Drop the background and stars leaving just the 'Magical Vegas' text in white...that would look ok. Or just a monochrome version of the current logo with everything in white and a transparent background so the colour of the shirt forms the background of the logo. Opinions on the nature of the sponsor aside, the logo is garish and tacky. There are too many colours going on for it to look good on a football shirt. |

Managed to get through the full hour and seven minutes, mainly because I enjoy Ben's work. The other TNC host is a good lad but that Chris is something else. Seems even many Norwich fans don't like him going by the comments. A bit of banter is fine but smugness and condescension from start to finish just made him look a complete knob. Ben did really well there. Mind you, as a football podcaster, Ben's a cut above these two. |

Labour's PFI contracts under Gordon Brown are the reason the NHS is so burdened by debt today. Whatever Labour may have achieved regarding the NHS in the Blair-Brown years came at a very heavy price that is crippling the service today and will do for generations. |

Oh, the Tories aren't much better. Another talentless bunch with a few exceptions. Theresa May is a statist, not a proper Conservative, so I wouldn't say the Tories are poles apart from traditional Labour. It's just Labour have taken a lurch to the hard left. But you're right, our education system (as with most institutions) has been over-run by lefties. Once students grow up, get a job, mortgage, kids, pension...then they (should) realise why socialist policies are a bad idea. |

They haven't had my vote for some time and will unlikely ever get my vote again. I find the current crop on the opposition benches particularly disgusting. Corbyn is a terrorist-sympathiser, McDonnell is a Marxist, Abbott is clueless. I'm amazed they polled so high at the last election. |
