Seems a bit of a joke to me.
The Premiership clubs don't enter until the 3rd round, so the number of potential replays for them is the smallest amount possible and their league has the fewest games. They also have the deepest squads available to choose from and if they actually put out their strongest squads, they'd probably avoid a lot of replays.
Replays aren't killing the FA Cup, the increasing disinterest from the big clubs is, plus having the semi finals at Wembley, lessens the feel of the overall final. |

Saw a thread on here saying that the most important game left was Leicester V West Brom, next Saturday.
It’s not next Saturday, it’s this Saturday. Next Saturday is the 27th. Hopefully Leicester read the thread and will turn up a week late. |

Only in recent weeks he’s had a huge impact coming on against Southampton and helped turn things around.
Has been a massive part of our journey from League One drudgery to the edge of Premiership football.

I’m surprised more footballers don’t follow this path when their playing careers are done.
I’d sooner trust an ex player who has been there and done that, to have my best interests at heart, than a dodgy bloke in a suit. |

Not playing but about ten years ago I managed a mixed-sexed team of Grade 6 misfits to an Inner London School cup final. It’s one of the proudest moments of my life.
The team was a group of kids who came from very challenging backgrounds and I couldn’t have been prouder of them. We lost in the final. I had two of my best players missing and things just didn’t click on the day.
But man the ride was something I never wanted to end. |

Great post and very much how I see and enjoy TWTD.
I think you can find what you personally want/need on here and I’ve enjoyed some great conversations, exchanges of views and learned a lot (not just about football) from others.
I think there is genuinely a really good and supportive (especially when it comes to matters of health) community atmosphere on here. Sure, there’s always a couple of posters looking to stir things but they generally find their level with like-minded posters and I steer well clear of that.
Like life, you get back what you put in on here. |

I have a couple of other upsides...
Putting Ipswich players in my fantasy football team.
Living in Canada, I'll be able to say who I support without people saying 'Who?" (though it might take a while for that to trickle down).
But for me, keeping McKenna is everything, so promotion is everything. |
