I have duly paid £10 to watch Ipswich Clowns Football Club "play" their football on iWallow, for almost all matches this season. Value for money? Absolutely not. Will I continue? Absolutely. Somewhere along the way, this nightmare must surely end... I dream that coherent, crisp, accurate passing will creep into our game. Shots will begin to reign in on the opposition's goal. I was extremely disappointed in our captain. The body language was of someone not even wanting to be present in the game. No words of encouragement were given to his fellow centre-back, who dug him out of the mire more than once. No cajoling or praising of team-mates where necessary... No organising to defend against set pieces. Just someone who quietly got on with his game. If you cannot be bothered, give the armband to someone else... At least that's how it appeared to me... |

Sorry, but the consistent playing of 1 up top, without decent support from the wide positions, means I will have to think long and hard about a season ticket for next season. My 37 year old son has already pulled out, saying its only going to be more of the same. Where is the effective game play that results in goals? PL has not managed to pull it together in umpteen months, so what will he manage to create during the 3 month break, without much funding... I do worry. |

Time to introduce a "bonus" scheme? Each game won attracts a 25% pay bonus. Each game lost attracts a 25% loss deduction. Well, at least the war chest would be boosted for next season. ☺
