Knudsen: McCarthy Leaving Has Effect on My Future
at 17:50:47

Get real Mr Knudson. You were only ever in the team because of McCarthy along with a number of others. Granted you have improved but don't insult supporters about what a great manager McCarthy is. He is not, and his public behaviour has been disgraceful for a long time.
Improve and prove your worth under a new manager and win your place on merit.

McCarthy: Fine Margins and Bad Decisions
at 02:24:23

Incredible how many players at Ipswich, not just the repetitive injury prone ones, get sick or injured immediately after they arrive.

Also incredible how unentertaining and negative a team can be that repeatedly are 'very very good and leave everything on the pitch' in the foul mouthed one's view

Also hard to be believe that the first team are coached or even train positively given the dire way they play on match day.

McCarthy the foul mouth out. Quite a few fans took his advice last night.

Any chance of some decent questions about the foul mothed one's management ability and attitude or will it be the usual spineless sycophantic love in?

Identity Crisis

A good read.
When Evans first came I thought his invisibility was a good thing against the back drop of self obsessed owners. Not now. He has let the club stagnate.
Milne is an irrelevance. I don 't see what he brings to the club other than meaningless platitudes, many of which turn out to be wrong.
I think McCarthy is the biggest problem. Negative, foul mouthed, disrespectful to supporters, favourites before ability. For all the good players that have come to Ipswich (who often fade under his 'coaching) I reckon that a) they were scouted by people like Klug, b) many others would not come because of McCarthy.
The club have no senior players who can stand up to McCarthy and incredibly he has been allowed free reign to diminish our football club.
Yes his first season was a success, but we were only 13 games in. Do you really think no one else could have done that? The only way was up.
On our play off season we made it on the back of an inexplicable scoring season by Murphy and because Derby County imploded. Our last game at Blackburn when we may still have needed points was a shambles tactically.
I kept watch on McCarthy at our home match against Lincoln last year and he was clueless. I thought he would be gone in the morning, but no. Don't mention the replay or any other cup game when clubs like ours have shone and shown some pride.
There are a number of tines, forget the appalling football, when McCarthy's foul mouthed remarks against the fans should have seen him sacked for gross misconduct, ironically not least on Sir Bobby Robson day last year after we beat Newcastle.
McCarthy has go for any renaissance to begin.

Milne: New Sponsorship Will Bolster Funding
at 15:41:08

Nothing Mr ‘the powers that be' Milne says is of any consequence. This has been proved time and again. He does not even seem to be a mouth piece for ME as his utterances are often incorrect.

What a club. A dubious invisible owner.
A MD with no obvious qualifications to run the club.
A negative, foul mouthed manager with a very high opinion of himself.
Now a deal with a gambling company which has to be shielded from children.

McCarthy: Red Card Cost Us

Poor sending off by Spence but does anyone else question our foul mouthed manager's tactical response in tacking off Celini, who was doing his defensive "shift' for Iorfa?
Usual McCarthy response.
What is the club doing about his foul mouthed tirades? Aren't fans supposed to report this sort of behaviour so culprits are ejected?
Please join me in reporting it to that dynamic managing director Mr 'the powers that be' Milne.

Time Tells: Taking Stock Ten Years After the Marcus Evans Takeover
at 18:57:23

An excellent article and thoroughly good read.

Particularly in agreement with the decline of Ipswich's former reputation tainted by the recent ownership and management, not least, in my view, the incredible acceptance of a foul mouthed manager (fact, refer to press conferences) who regularly finds it necessary to insult supporters for his own ego.

Senior Citizens Switch and Cobbold Stand Move Prove Controversial at PLC AGM

Where else in the world would a MD refer to 'the powers that be'. Pathetic, insipid, cowardly.

Where else in the world would a business or football club allow a foul mouthed, negative, one trick pony insult shareholders and supporters and produce a brand of hoofball against the tradition of the club driving long-standing supporters and paying customers away.

Both these jokers should be out

What's the Stay Away Fans' Excuse Now? An Open Letter to Certain Town Fans
at 14:08:57

I am all for being positive and supporting the team and players (irrespective of their ability) and I am not a stay away fan. I am an unhappy fan though and that is solely down to the presence of McCarthy at our once esteemed football club. It is a good time to express this whilst Town are doing relatively well. Win, lose or draw I would like to see the back of McCarthy.
My reasons are the same as expressed time and time again on TWTD. Negative, defensive, dire hoofball (ok occasionally Ipswich have passed the ball recently), McCarthy's excuse ridden, foul mouth utterances and contradictions week after week, including ridiculous digs at Town fans, his over rated big headed view of his own ability, favouritism of players irrespective of form or ability, his setting up for a 'scrap' against the poorest teams, his pathetic use of nicknames (he is the manager of a football clubbusiness for goodness sake not a nursery school), and the way he has ingrained himself at the club so that the spineless Milne does nothing, perhaps that is being unkind, he is probably just a puppet for the faceless Evans. Whilst Town have made some reasonable signings recently, I suspect real flair players with options would go nowhere near McCarthy. I think close season even Evans and Milne realised how disaffected some fans were hence some of their 'initiatives'. Unfortunately these did not include showing McCarthy the door.
I have expressed this view a number of times and have written to the Club and the management. These days they neither have the curtesy or courage to respond - so different to the club pre - Evans.
Sorry that sounds so negative. Support the team always, but McCarthy was never a good match for the football Ipswich were once renowned for, or the way the football club was once managed.
