| News Comment | Former Town and England Striker Johnson Dies at 11:18:16
Sad news. He turned out to be a great signing although at the time people wondered why we had allowed Rod Belfitt to leave and had got an 'unknown' to replace him. He formed a great partnership with Trevor Whymark in what became Sir Bobby's first 'great' ITFC team. R.I.P. |

I believe that ITFC played in red and white and Peterborough played in blue and white in our home F.A. Cup 3rd round game on 9th January 1960. I was there and that is my memory. |

Regarding the 1975 and 1981 semi-finals at Villa Park, The Beat went off with his broken arm to be replaced by Steve McCall in 1981. Trevor Whymark left ITFC in 1979 but played in the 1975 semi-final.Allan Hunter went off injured in 1975 and was replaced by Roger Osborne so that was the game that Trevor Whymark switched to centre-half. |
| News Comment | Former Town Assistant Chung Dies at 17:21:51
R.I.P. Sammy. He worked well with Bill McGarry and helped get us back to the top division leading to what followed in the 1970's and early 1980's. |
| News Comment | Former Forward Clarke Dies at 14:39:19
RIP As has been said, the signings of him and Jimmy Robertson kept us up in 1969/70. |

oh that is so sad. One of Jackie Milburn's good signings, a very classy goalscoring winger RIP Frank |
| News Comment | Former Town Right-Back Carroll Dies at 17:51:27
That is sad, he was a good RB in the 1967/68 promotion winning side and the only ever present starter in the top division in 1969/70. RIP |
| News Comment | Club Patron Hope-Cobbold Dies at 21:18:02
RIP I never actually spoke to the gentleman but he always seemed so cheerful at shareholders meetings and such like. He seemed to be such a nice and sincere man. |
| News Comment | My Best Town XI: Bryan Hamilton Part One at 15:19:55
A very good team but not sure where Bryan gets the idea that Allan Hunter was a midfielder when he arrived here because he was already capped by Northern Ireland at centre half. I don't know if he was ever a midfielder but certainly not when we got him. |
