| News Comment | Tractor Girls Sign Arsenal Midfielder at 16:54:37
Dual registration is not uncommon in the women's game at this level. Leonie Jackson has just signed dual registration with Needham Market as she wasn't getting game time here and Needham's first choice goalie is out long term injured. It is similar to a loan deal in the men's game but it has the added flexibility that you can play for both teams when required. Freya is an Arsenal academy player and she could be selected for their academy matches if Arsenal needed her. However this would not be a recall like in loan deals in that she would still be able to play for us again after playing for them. Hope this makes sense now. |
| News Comment | Lengthy Ban For Tractor Girls Defender Egan at 08:57:45
OliveR16 If you were at the game you would realise Egan has been stitched up by the referee's report and an over zealous decision by Suffolk FA. Nothing untoward happened at the end of play other than the player feeling that the ref hadn't given any decisive decisions our way. The situation is nothing like Norwood and only shows a naïve expression of passion on her behalf. All true supporters will be behind her in this unjust decision. As others here and elsewhere have pointed out De Canio and Suarez where treated far less harshly for more serious offences. Where is the equality?? |
| News Comment | Tractor Girls in Cup Action at Home to London Bees at 17:35:50
How to protect a 1-0 lead. - Lads pay attention! Though to be fair to the girls it should have been a more comprehensive victory. A dominant display deserved more goals. The important thing though, there was very little danger of conceding. This despite a completely different back line and keeper. |
| News Comment | Tractor Girls Hit Four to Continue 100 Per Cent Start at 15:49:34
Pilgrimblue - the winner of this division play off with the winners of Northern Premier Division for a place in the Championship, (loser remains in their respective division). Runners up remain in Southern Premier Division |
| News Comment | Tractor Girls Sign Keeper Quantrill at 13:54:37
BcarefulwhatUWish4 - if you listen to the girls interviews who have signed their first pro deals, they all talk about back to back promotion. So their aim is clear. The club brought out a supporter pack in the aborted 2019/20 season : '4-1 Journey' meaning promotion from tier 4 to tier 1. They are ultimately aiming for the WSL. And with the talented young squad of players (9 have made the England U19 squad in the last two seasons) I wouldn't bet against them. |
| News Comment | Crewe Date Switch and Earlier Start at Rotherham at 21:40:20
Why has the Crewe game been moved? Date now clashes with women's FA cup 2nd round proper. This wouldn't happen to Man City! Why don't organisers communicate with each other? |
| News Comment | Season Curtailed But Tractor Girls Could Still Move Up a Division at 15:50:33
We obviously have a very strong case for promotion but so does Southampton in Division 1 South West and Wolverhampton in Division 1 Midlands. Three teams with similar records and who are a class above their division with only two places up for grabs unless a tier 3 team drops out. It's taken FAWNL a long time to get this far, let's hope they can reach a satisfactory conclusion for everyone. |
| News Comment | Tractor Girls Win Again to Top Table at 23:38:16
JimmyJooJarJee you're right but it's the way the FA have treated the women's game differently to the men's They should have used average points from games played, same as League 1 & 2 rather than voiding the whole season. Would be playing in the Southern Premier Division this season and as you say probably doing well there if they had |
