At the risk of sounding Mick like, Sheffield United are a decent team. They played well, and we defended equally well to keep them at bay. The three centre halves looked both comfortable and accomplished, but unfortunately that’s where the positives dry up. Our wingbacks were dreadful as per usual, and besides a couple excellent interceptions from Skuse, our midfield was it’s usual creativity free self. In general we can rely on one of our forward thinking players to make their own opportunities, but not yesterday. They too were well below par.
All in all we should be thankful for the point, because it is arguably one more than we deserved from the game. |

Thoroughbly enjoyable game.
Stand out performers for me were McGoldrick, Berra and Huws.
McGoldrick has such quick feet. He did things with the ball that are a joy to watch. If he was anything more than an average finisher he would be playing for a top PL team.
Berra was a tower of strength in the middle of the back three, as opposed to a fish out of water that at left half.
Huws looks like a helluva player. Confident on the ball, strong, aggresssive, and has a good range of passing.
Impressive following from Leeds, and they have a team that likes to move the ball around. The two centre halves were an excellent pairing, and coped well with Freddie's runs into the channels.
We still look a little toothless in front of goal, so overall I'd say 1-1 was about fair. |

We didn't play well, and Micks use of the subs was terrible. Cardiff were the better team in a dreadful first half. Should have split up Skuglas at half time. Varney should not of been taken off, and that speaks volumes of our club at the moment. |
