Not the popular opinion i know, but i have seen qualities in him that suggests to me he is worth persevering with.
It's hardly like he's keeping a star performer out of the first XI is it.

Should of cleared that off the line shouldn't he? Tried to go at it with his right foot instead of left. As big an error as Downes is you ask me.

If it meant we shed the section of our support who believe they are entitled to see a promotion challenge season after season.
You know the ones? Keep threatening to never attend a match again, keep calling for the managers head, blah, blah, blah!

I wonder how long he will train with us before making a decision on where his future lies?
Will he dictate, or will we?

|Is Wolfy fit?|

He played in the U23’s yesterday, but I’ve not heard anything about how he got on. After his cameo against Blackburn I’d have no hesitation about putting him in for Sunday’s game......if fit of course.

I’m in Salou supping all inclusive Estrella, so am admittedly somewhat more chilled than usual, but holy smokes!
If we finish 15th, having developed a younger squad, and a more progressive style of play, then that should be considered a successful season.
I hate Twitter.....ffs
|Hurst should shoulder some of the blame for last night|

Let me just say, its a cup game.........the result doesn't matter.......the team is still gelling.........I get all of that.
But if i was one of the players that Hurst publicly criticised in last nights post match interview, i'd be asking the gaffer why he chose to chuck on Bishop and Rowe when we are chasing a winner. Great to see them both back on the pitch, and i hope they both get lots of football this season, but they were never going to come on and influence the game in a positive manner. Where were the impact subs? Harrison, Dozzell, Nydam? Poor management if you ask me.

We could arguably do with a better one, but Hurst has bought 2 in for reasonable fees, and I’m pretty sure he intends to play them. Sears is the back up, with U23’s getting the odd run out.
Another winger would be the priority for me.

Signed off on 3 year deal for our new office photocopier....

As it stands we are alleged to have bids in for the following players;
And are waiting on the signing of a new striker before allowing Waghorn to leave.
Is this how everyone else sees it?

At least we no longer need to come up with a song for Waggy. We've really struggled with that one.

There must be mustn't there?
Surely we'd not go into the opening game of the season with only one senior centre back.
