Both will probably start on the bench but Burns could possibly start due to him being out for a shorter time. Moore has come in and done a good job but i think we've missed Hirsts greater mobility and pace. Burns pace and strength has been missed and Hutchinson has been outstanding since his injury but I think he looks a bigger threat in a number ten role.
McKenna seems very reluctant to play Travis i think a fully fit Evans would have been more involved but nice to hear he's settled in well at Portsmouth.
Had a really tough start at Bristol but looks like he's starting to show his potential. His decision at the start of the season to not go out on loan (it was his) back fired on him so he's probably playing catch up. No player improves by not playing. His loan spell at Cheltenham knocked his confidence a bit but time is on his side. Next season is going to be a massive season for him with another loan spell hope fully at Bristol Rovers .
The quality of the Premier league is much stronger now than when Burley was in charge so comparisons with McKenna are not really fair. There's no reason with a big cash investment we could compete Brighton, Brentford and Bournemouth have done ok.
It's amazing how people can still find negatives about being top of the league with a squad that's over achieving big time. This squad would struggle without the brilliant motivation and tactical ability of Keiron McKenna so let's enjoy it while we can. I suggest the glory hunters and band wagon jumpers go and support Man city or Liverpool. I have supported the team for over sixty years and will still do no matter what happens this season.
Another magnificent effort from the team against a very good team who defended very well and were dangerous on the break. I think possibly at times we played one pass to many when a shot was on. Hutchinson was excellent again but his finishing wasn't as lethal as it normally is. The threat up top is lacking a bit Al Hamadi is awaiting an operation and Moore doesn't look fit. If we are in the championship next season and the excitement is as good as this i shan't be complaining.
I think McKenna knows best if Nwabueze is ready for the first team squad. The first team is moving forward unfortunately the academy isn't and needs improving. The last two decent players we produced being Downes and Wolfenden that is the stark reality im afraid.
Because we haven't got the level of quality in our squad Leeds, Leicester and Southampton have our work rate every game is immense and in the last four or five games we've started to look very tired. But such is the fantastic spirit in the team we could still win this league with Leeds and Leicester wilting under the pressure.
We have over achieved massively this season with a very average bunch of players but with a brilliant manager whose getting every ounce of effort out of his players and i think this is starting to tell on the players who now look a bit flat. I suggest those fans who expect us to win every game should jump on somebody else's band wagon.
We haven't really been on our game since probably the Birmingham home game but have been finding ways to win. I think the midfield is looking a little pedestrian and will need bolstering next season Luongo has been finding the championship difficult and has been rested for some games. Burns pace and directness has been missed. I don't think the right back position has ever been convincing or settled either. But such is the spirit in the team we can still get that second promotion spot.
This is Norwich's biggest game in their history ive even heard they dish out medals when they win. Anyone who watched the Leicester game will know what i mean losing the game they refused to go for an equaliser and just had one thing on their minds the game against Ipswich sad.
As much as i don't like the attitude of the player he's a very good player at championship level and along with Wolfenden the last decent player we have produced through our under achieving academy.
Yes Al Hamadi has shown he has potential he is very dangerous in and around the box but still has a lot of improvement left to do as McKenna stated. In a big game like Norwich Moore would be a massive loss as he's also handy at defending set pieces.
My player of the season not only because he's our best player but because of his influence on the team. Hladky very close in second place. The fans player of the year is more of a popularity contest so anyone could win it depends who you've got on the back of your shirt. Me personally i haven't got a favourite player.
