Even without the goal Morsy was absolutely awesome. He ran the game from start to finish. Aluko and Norwood also deserve a mention for Alukos work on the ball and Norwood work off the ball . Between the three of them they covered every blade of grass in each half. Tormented the opposition with the ball and harassed them when we didn’t have it. Great game to watch, especially the first half. Not surprisingly we could not keep that level of performance up for 90 minutes |

Holy - passable keeper for this league.
Full backs, both good players but don’t have the legs the way PL expects them to go up and down the flanks.
Toto- great bloke but an absolute liability, every time a player goes through he gives away a penalty. Time to go.
Mcguiness unlucky to score but still prone to make mistakes.
Dozzell- was not in the game and gave away silly free kicks
Bishop- good on his day, the trouble is he is not having many, either injured or not in he game.
Downes- looked more interested in fouling opponents and barging them than playing the ball.
Judge- good last couple of games but returned to lots of running and nothing to show for it.
Drinnan- not good enough to play on his own up front. Needs a partner, which won’t happen.
Edwards- our best player this year when fit. Today never in the game apart from last ten minutes
Nolan. Only player to show ambition and controlled aggression when he came on.
Sears. Time to move on, won’t play enough and if he does it will be out of position.
Thomas- showed glimpses of what he can do, but we will soon sort him out to stop that.

After diabolical decisions at the start of the season I thought they would come back to haunt us again when a blatant penalty was denied. That all changed when their player was sent off for two stupid bookings, although both were correct. Up until that point we were not in the game. Had the ball a lot but did sod all with it!!!! |

Cannot fathom out how we managed to win that one. I have never shouted for Lambert to go but now is the time. He seems bereft of ideas and if plan A does not work then that’s it. Kept the same formation when it was not working and only luck got us the points. Judge, Sears were not in the game at all and I am fearful every time Toto chases after someone near the area. He is a liability we cannot afford . Much as I love to watch his all action style and endeavour surely Woolfenden must get the nod to play Tuesday. The style of play and lack of ideas are woeful. |

If a player had made decisions as bad as this referee did in this game he would never play again. That idiot no doubt will be ruining some other poor sods team this weekend with no reprisal again. I don’t think I have seen two decisions so bad in a long while and definitely not both in one game |

Expected judge and Jackson to get the big scores but as Sindre94 said Chambers was excellent. Also a special mention on Edwards who played very well when we went to a back four.
Just need to hold this form against other better teams, starting next week. |

Forget the result, we cannot change that. My problem is the chopping and changing of teams and formation.
Toto was getting unfair attention in my opinion, Harrison was just as bad if not worse throughout the game and should have walked. Lambert takes Toto off “for his own good†debatable. We then change from a back three to a back four and put on a midfielder, when we have a right back on the bench who has done a decent job since KVY injury.
To back up my opinion. Look at the back line from the start, Woolfy on the left, Toto in the middle, and Chambers on the right. Surely it should be Toto, Chambers, Woolfy from left to right. We then move to a back four an Chambers moves to the left, Woolfy to the right and we bring Skuse to right back. Well anybody with two brain cells saw last week that you do not play Skuse at right back. It is not fair to him or the team.
Moving on with things not improving, eventually we get Donancion on in the right back position where he should have been from the kick off and Skuse is removed.
Lambert has done so much since his arrival, but, he has too many options available and does not seem to know what to do with them. We are head and shoulders above most teams in this league and have a squad the envy of EVERYONE. unfortunately it appears after a year in charge he still does not Know his best formation or team.
I will not even give my opinions on the midfield or front line as this would then turn into a very boring essay. |

Exiciting if somewhat frustrating game. Bottom line is we did not make enough clear cut chances to put the game to bed. 3 decisions went against us and to be honest we were lucky to escape with a draw after these were not given or in the penalty instance given. Chambers goal decision shocking, our penalty shout maybe not so much, and their penalty was outside the box. Take the point and move on. Not all the officials can be this bad can they?
One last thing which no one else has mentioned, just how did Norwood not get his header on target in the first 15 minutes. That goes in and it’s a different game. That have to attack, and by the time the second half starts their bringing on defenders to stop a rout. |

Well at least we won. The back line , goalkeeper included were very poor apart from Woolfenden. Midfield if there is a better pairing than Skuse and Downes in this league then I will eat my hat. The new winger from spurs looked sharp and what a difference when we went with two up top. Very pleased fro Kayden to get off the mark and how defences must hate the thought of facing Norwood. We may not have played well , but at least it was exciting. |

After watching that I am concerned for next season. Some of our players will not be good enough even for league 1. After Keane limped off (another sick Note?) we offered nothing in the way of attack. Mind you we offered not much before he went off. Jackson never touched the ball and his attempts at trying to header a ball were pitiful. Judge did his normal running around like the preverbial energiser bunny with no end product. That is apart from our one shot on target in the 88th minute from about 30 yards out. Can anyone actually tell me what position he plays?
As for our manager. Come on now, we have not exactly improved much since he took over have we. We may play with more impetus but end result, well exactly the same as the rubbish PH dished up. |
