| News Comment | Town Announce New £105m Investment From Bright Path Sports Partners at 18:08:45
Is this really an 'investment' or are gamechanger not making a quick buck selling some of their equity in the club? Obviously by selling on part of their shareholding for £105m to another company it means more funds available but I am not sure it should read as £105m to be invested into ITFC. |
| News Comment | Delia and Husband Issue Statement on Car Incident at 20:39:36
Blueboy's disgusted. Again. As I recall he spent a very long time being disgusted about us wanting rid of Marcus Evans. "Be careful what you wish for". Earlier today he was disgusted that people thought our new signees might add something. Despite spending years berating anybody that dares disagree with his negativity, he's finished with this club because a beer can landed on Delia's car and he's offended by the language on here - it's tipped him over the edge. Farewell, old bean. |
| News Comment | Fans Urged to Stay Off the Pitch at 12:14:58
I'm amazed people feel so strongly about this. I find it weird, frankly. Of course fans will be expressing deep joy tomorrow and if they do so by running on some grass to celebrate so be it. The pitch is being replaced, I don't anticipate any aggro, just joy. Personally, I'll be in the stands but I don't begrudge the next generation of fans, that have endured years of torrid football, having their fun. |

I've been geeking out with the stats: IPSWICH on 75 points Last 10 games gained 24 points 9 to play at this rate of 2.4pts/game = 96.6 for season (got 2x games vs top 6) Promotion odds 4/11 - the favourite bar Shef Weds PLYMOUTH on 77 points Last 10 games gained 19 points 9 to play at this rate of 1.9pts/game = 94.1 for season (got 1x games vs top 6) promotion odds 5/6 BARNSLEY on 69points w/2x games in hand Last 10 games gained 26 points 11 to play at this rate of 2.6pts/game = 97.6 for season (got 2x games vs top 6) Promotion odds 3/1 So, based on this, Barnsley are the real danger. In fact, taking a leaf out of the Peter Cook school of gambling I've just had £100 on Barnsley. Fingers crossed I lose. |

I see Blueboy is once again wallowing in our woes. He gets so excited his verbal diarrhoea kicks in. Must be over ten posts when we lose vs nada when we win. I have not got over his years of propping up the Evans regime with his eternal negativity about how we would go to the dogs without him. Anyway, I'm going to stick my neck out and suggest we cut McK some slack for a couple of weeks till he figures out his best 11, given the new players that have come in. Once that's established we'll fly back up the table and I'll see you in the Championship next season. Toodle Pip. |
| News Comment | Ashton: Persuading New Head of Recruitment to Leave Manchester United a Real Coup at 12:59:58
It was a very brave call to get rid of Cooke so early and replace him with an untested manager. He completely put himself on the line by doing so. If I'm honest, I felt he had pulled the plug on Cooke too early but he's proven to be spot on with that call and the choice of replacement. Hats off to him. |

Intrigued to see that Anthony Barry has, in the last couple of hours, superseded Neil Harris as the favourite for the Town job. He looks an interesting choice. |

How very underwhelming. I cant help feeling that the trigger was pulled too early and PC should have been given at least another month. I have four kids, all town fans but with undulating interest in going to games over the last few years. However, all four have attended most games this season and have been enjoying games more than they have for many years. It's been far from perfect but the football has been generally far more exciting to watch and we've seen some good goals. You only have to look at attendance figures to sense that town were finally heading in the right direction under Cook. |

Wow. Everybody gagging to jump on Cook's back, already. That's the spirit!... Takes me back to the MM days. It's perhaps a little early to be quite so fickle, let's consider supporting our team. |

Good. You only have to look at the rubbish the likes of role models such as Rashford and Mings have to put up with to recognise this is a key moment to move the conversation forward and stamp out racism. |
