Crowe and Andoh Debutants at Crawley
at 19:01:12

Exciting to see what new talent could emerge from a game like this. Would have been a good opportunity to see Wilson get some more game time. Captain Mainwaring's got it in for him! And Norwood and Jackson on the bench to give them 20 minutes at the end.

Taylor: A Great Experience For the Younger Ones
at 11:32:24

I've got no idea who's injured, suspended or heads-not-right at the moment.
I'd have to build a Guess Who board of the Ipswich squad and flip-down all the injured & suspended, then our League-First-11 players, then anyone who played the full 120 minutes 3 days ago. What does that leave ? Just Wilson ?

A dubious night all round. I wonder if the floodlights would have mysteriously failed after 85 minutes if we weren't losing too.

Lambert: The Two Incidents Were Absolutely Incredible
at 09:18:24

You'd like to think that now with games being played without crowds the referees would improve their decision making and not be swayed by any external crowd influences. But here we have 2 dubious decisions going against us when we are battling do break the curse of 'not beating a top 6 side'. Overnight I was reminded of a few years ago there was a spate of midweek floodlight failures which got linked to unusual betting patterns in South East Asia. It might just be sour grapes on my part. Either way let's keep battling the top 6 sides properly like this.

Blues Look to Bounce Back Against Gills
at 16:39:48

If the supporters were back in the stadium the next game, it would definitely be a toxic atmosphere by half time if we weren't bouncing back. But we're not. He'll never have an easier set of circumstances than this to prove he can get this team to bounce back. Enjoy the silence and just do it.

Ipswich Town 2-0 Accrington Stanley - Match Report
at 19:36:26

To win against our first strong opponents this season, with our depleted squad, turning it round at half time, now that is impressive and hopefully a significant hurdle overcome for this season. Well done Lambo, Chambo & the team.

AFC Wimbledon 0-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 09:01:04

We've spent so many years away from the top end of the table, any table. This year we found ourselves in the automatic spots for half a season almost by mistake rather than design. And now it feels like the team have got a collective nosebleed from the height and have a fear of getting promoted. If the excitement of being in the promotion spots can't motivate this team to win games and having a manager with previous promotion experience then I don't know what will.

Sunderland 1-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 18:36:54

In the last decade it doesn't seem to matter who our manager is or what division we're in, in the last third of the season we just slowly drift down the table, year after year. We seem completely incapable of either climbing a table or holding a high position.
