| News Comment | Norwich Favourites to Sign Gibbs But Other Clubs Still in Running at 16:13:43
Beatties you must take off your blinkers. The lad wanted to stay but obviously the club didn't make it attractive enough to stay. Apparently (I dont know) the money was close so maybe it was down to what the club was saying. He will get better loan moves with a premier league club which will help his development, if the club mentioned loan moves for him this season I'm not sure a Bury Town or Lowerstoft would persuade him to stay. He was our stand out player in the fantastic run to the semifinals of the FA youth cup and it's my opinion that we could have done more to keep him. |
| News Comment | Town Linked With Stoke Striker Gregory at 17:51:18
Some of the comments on here have confirmed exactly what I thought, how you have a lack of tactical knowledge when it comes to footballers. It takes a good manager to get the best out of his players. |
| News Comment | Town Linked With Stoke Striker Gregory at 15:09:04
Think lots for you are forgetting that we were top of the league for a time in both of the last seasons with the rubbish we have let go. I'm saying all the players we have let go are not as bad as most of you claim they are. I believe we just lacked squad depth and didnt need this type of radical approach, unless Cook couldn't tell who was worth keeping and who wasnt which definitely worries me. Time will tell as it always does. |

There are so many accomplished coaches on here. I'm a UEFA B coach. Wonder what football qualifications some of you have to comment whether a player is any good or not. 🤣. Arm chair pundits 🤣. Down votes incoming 🤣. |
| News Comment | Town Linked With Stoke Striker Gregory at 14:18:38
We are linked with so many players. My fear is that we have missed out on some of our main targets and now are on our 3rd or even 4th choices. Are some of these players really any better than we have already let go. I hope I'm wrong. |
| News Comment | Gibbs Leaving Town as Last-Gasp Talks Break Down at 08:02:28
Good luck Liam hope it works out for you. Wow!! Some of the comments on here. None of you know the situation at all. You are all speculating this and that. The fact is, Liam had his reasons for not signing and the club had their reasons for not offering more and thats it. Again good luck lad. |
| News Comment | Town Face Losing Gibbs as Premier League Clubs Hover at 19:12:21
Linkboy you talk absolute rubbish. You dont have to be built like a beast to play football there are plenty of very slight international players in the Euros I'm watching right now. Foolish comments!! |
| News Comment | Gibbs Already on Premier League Radar as Town Offer New Deal at 17:28:00
This young man is a very talented player. I've watched this player progress through our academy and I've been very excited by him. This young lad scores goals and creates lots of goals. I like him to Kevin de bruyne hes a real talent who we must keep hold of. I believe if we offer this lad the right deal he will stay with us. I also know Chelsea are monitoring him but would that be a good move after what has happened to the lad Brown. |
| News Comment | Lambert: Kids Are Getting Chances, That's Probably Not Happened For a Number of Years at 11:38:53
We certainly have some fantastic young talented players coming through. Gibbs is a creator and a goal scorer something we are crying out for at the moment and I'm sure he will produce that for us given time in the first team environment. Lambert is right not putting any pressure on our youngsters. Our club has a really bright future IF we can keep all our young players a the club. Agree totally with you Upthetown. |
| News Comment | Bello Nets Hat-Trick as Blues Thrash Chelmsford in FA Youth Cup at 22:56:33
Gibbs very impressive tonight. Our midfield needs a player like him now Bishop is injured I'm surprised he played tonight. Premier league clubs were watching the game tonight really hope we can hold on to Gibbs but I fear the vultures are circling. Great team display tonight a massive well done to all involved definitely showed our first team how to play. |
| News Comment | Lankester: I'm Ready to Show What I Can Do at 09:27:15
Have to agree with Ericgates12 get the young lad Gibbs on the pitch. Lambert now has a real dilemma as I dont believe some players again performed well against Lincoln so chance over!!. Time for change!!! |
| News Comment | Gibbs Hits Late 30-Yarder as U23s Win at Lowestoft at 06:59:04
Gibbs and McGavin certainly our u23 stand out players. All these young lads can do is keep performing but I fear Lambert is going to stick with experience this season so I dont see young players being used much. If he didn't use them last night then when will he. I agree upthetown these 2 should be around the first team for sure. Gibbs my mom last night, definitely made an impact once he came on. |
| News Comment | Gibbs Signs First Pro Deal at 22:05:14
Congratulations Liam. This lad has caught my eye every time I've watched him play. Very exciting talent and the club must think so too to give him a contract on his 17th birthday. Well done lad. |
| News Comment | U23s Draw With U's at 10:07:09
Great result for our u18 team oh sorry u23 team today. Patches of excellent play. Hope to see Gibbs given another opportunity with the first team think this youngster is a real talent. Big well done to Nash and Hogg to get this result with such a young team. The future looks bright |
| News Comment | U18s Cling On to Beat Exeter in Youth Cup at 07:25:53
Great first half. I also would have liked to have seen Baker play today as hes a player who likes to play through the midfield which would have brought Gibbs into the game more as he was getting bypassed by the long balls up to our 2 powerful lads up top. Gibbs showed flashes of excellence when given the ball so I can see why he was given a sniff at the first team set up. Great result good luck in the next round. The future looks bright. |
| News Comment | Hughes Nets Stunner as U23s Beat Bolton 6-3 at 12:27:40
A very enjoyable afternoon watching the u23 team win their first match of the season. Great to see Paul Lambert watching. Some future first team players in this group I'm sure. |
