Millwall v Queens Park Rangers Your Report added at 14:14:53
I always thought this would be a harder game than Boro. We historically always play better against bigger teams and however much you talk about being comlacent i think sub-consciously everyone does when playing teams we are supposedly meant to beat.
We deserved it, just about, with the stand out performers being Berra, Cresswell, Skuse, Tunnicliffe and McGoldrick.
Really not sure about Hyam, he certainly is struggling to find his best form, but if we dropped him i think we would miss him in there. The only possible alternative would be Tunnicliffe in with Skuse and Tabb on the left.
Murphy was nowhere near as effective as Saturday but i do quite like him and DM together, so would stick with that pair ( and he did score).
Overall though a great three days and when did we last get six out of six in a Sat/Tues combo?
Would take a point at Wigan.

Very poor performance today, Barnsley and Harewood in particular could have had three or four on another day. We definitely seem to struggle at home against the supposed weaker sides who come and try and frustrate us. The only positive i would say about the home draws with Bristol. Pboro and today is that i think a few months ago we would have lost all of those games.
Orr was my MOM today followed by Chambers, the rest really were poor. Think Murphy is unlucky to be on the bench although would only play him if up front , not wide again.

Just home, thoroughly enjoyed it today. Gutted we didnt hang on. Actually thought they scored the winner just as we were looking stronger again.
Anyone (Daley) who slags off Lee Martin needed to be there today, ran his legs off.
Encouraging performances from Loach, Hewitt, Kisnorbo and the two new lads up front when they came on.
Only real disappointments were NRC (again !!) and unfortunately Hyam who didnt take his chance to shine at all.
I see JET has got poor marks too, i think thats a bit harsh as he was moved into the space in front of Hyam and NRC and it worked. They were attacking us through a hole there and he filled it. He didnt provide anything much going forward but did a job for the team.
Great support today , totally opposite to the awful home fans.
Think we could see them again next year.

Thought N'Daw and NRC worked really well together and stood out, along with Smith, Edwards and Campbell. Cresswell had a better game too. Encouraging and so nice to get a win at home.
Need to keep Carlos at right mid and try and sign Campbell.
I personally would send Henderson and Murphy back. Wickham up alongside DJ ??

h32 - u r scaring me, two posts that i agree with !!!
Turning point for me was JET''s miss, 2-0 at that point would have sealed it i think. Didnt need to burst the net , could just have stroked it in. DJ should have scored in first half too.
When you look back on the whole game Cardiff didnt really miss any sitters, Loach didnt make any great saves, but we (mainly Loach im afraid) gave them two goals.
Liked the look of DJ and particularly Wellens, but PJ needs some results and fast. The table doesnt lie and we can moan about bad luck all you like but 7 points from 10 games isnt anywhere near good enough.

Good point, real shame we didnt hold onto the lead.
h32 - good first post, shame u spoilt it with the second, thats the beauty/pain in the ass of this league anyone can beat anyone.
We have stopped the rot but agree we must now build on it and start notching up some wins. Two points from two away games is ok, no points from two at home isnt.

h32 - as usual just ignore the point i actually made that i have never been "pro PJ" and "the facts" are there in all my previous posts, but hey why worry about that.
Some of us are just reasonable and think that each manager should be given a fair crack of the whip thats all.
No doubt if PJ does go you will expect the new one to turn things around overnight and go back to the "glory days" again. (Hate to tell you but those days have gone, football has changed)
PJ hasnt split the support, lack of common sense and arrogance by some parties has done that. Its very very easy to criticise, and negativity for negativity's sake never ever helps.
But hey why am i bothering cos as you have told me in the past you are a winner and must therefore be right.

h32 - dont start getting all cocky about PJ. If you look back and read the posts you will find that the reason i and many many others gave you stick was not cos we love PJ but because you and others turn every news story into an anti PJ rant. I on numerous occasions said i was undecided about Jewell and that the start of this season would be his acid test, and so far yes its not good. Being anti negative posting for the sake of it isnt the same as being pro PJ.

Well that made Wednesday look good. Poor tactically today and no real fight or confidence. Thought only Scotland and Chambers looked up for it. Cresswell looks a different player, and not in a good way. Luongo shows ashes of what he can do but again gave the ball away for the second goal, Murphy was poor, Martin disappointing and JET dreadful. PJ in trouble I think.

Very very disappointing. Don't agree that the players aren't trying, but certainly very little quality and no confidence tonight. Would personally liked to have seen Drury and Hyam start although to be fair , Luongo was probably our best player. What makes it. worse is that Wolves were a poor side too, and there for the taking. Sat is huge game for PJ now. IMO we desperately need a mowbray like figure to organize us and please can we put Martin back just off Chopra, he is far more effective there.
