| News Comment | Hladky: Contract is Not Yet Signed But I Want to Stay Here at 14:56:17
Vas has been huge and is clearly a long way ahead of Walton with the ball at feet, which is pivotal in how we play and open spaces. Slicker is, from the little I’ve seen, our future number 1 and really exciting. Poor old Christian Walton, but if he’s happy playing number 2 then he’s a terrific backup to Vas while Slicker grows more physically |
| News Comment | Downes: Fans Don't Know the Full Story of Town Exit at 00:26:54
Not the brightest button. poor fan engagement. He’s a good footballer, but was part of a toxic era we’ve left behind. It’s a sad story but he’s enjoyed his paydays im sure - and joined a club he loves, even if they’ve loaned him out. His negative comments still speak volumes to me, even now. If he was smarter he’d just speak about his care for the club and wish us all the best. Compare this to how our players talk now. None of this nonsense. It wouldn’t cut muster with KMK. |
| News Comment | Ashton: Training Ground and Category One Academy Priorities Following New Investment at 08:14:15
KMK is wonderfully self assured. I have faith that he’s here for a good while yet, even if fortunes shift with player trading etc. provided the fans love and understand and support and listen to him. Because he’s confident enough to walk into champions league management any day. And he’s so young. He has no reason to leave for anything other than a top 6 club. And those jobs come up quite often, let’s face it. He’s hardly missing out! I do think he’ll want to manage the best players just to see what he’s capable of. He’ll be on the radar of all champions league clubs imo. But he hopefully doesn’t feel in any rush. Terrific news about the investment and valuation! |
| News Comment | European Clubs 'Monitoring' Hutchinson at 22:51:29
Would love him staying at Town, he loves it here too I think. Still young and developing, and our man KMK a big pull no doubt. We’re once again a great club for young talent. There were some fans on this board saying Omari wasn’t up to it even quite recently. (Which just goes to show, even our great club has dafties in the fan base!) |
| News Comment | Palace Reportedly Fail in Move For McKenna at 15:39:53
We’ve got to make this the club he deeply believes in and wants to be at for years. To do that he needs total support (tick) a relentlessly noisy stadium (must improve) and to be shown the love (mostly tick). I’d be desperately disappointed if he left at end of season and fans need to remember the part they can play in keeping him |
| News Comment | Town Confirm Al-Hamadi Signing at 15:32:16
1. Not the sort of player any defender at any level wants running at or around them aggressively 2. Sounds and looks determined, and maybe like he has the positive ego-ruthlessness that can be a real edge up top. 3. Physical presence in box for set plays and potential hold up play 4. Already looks to have good technical detail from highlights reel. Prospects of improving that are exciting Feels an exciting piece of business, time will tell - so let’s give him that time and fill his confidence up from the stands. Hirsty, Al Hamadi already shaping up with our quick technical players in support. KMK = God :-D |
| News Comment | McKenna: Job Done, It Had the Potential to Be a Tricky Tie at 16:18:00
Legend. He’ll slowly build the squad, it’s probably some way from where he’d like it but we’re so lucky it’s him building it. Imagine where he’ll have us in another 24 months. My take: we’d have definitely lost that game 2 years ago. And we’d all have been seriously annoyed about it! |
| News Comment | Delia and Husband Issue Statement on Car Incident at 21:56:18
Comments here seem to vindicate our club’s position! I think it’s awful that stuff was thrown at the car, not very Ipswich. Dafties exist in the fan base of every club. It’s a pity and I do believe we are quite a lot better than that as a fan base. HOWEVER I also think the Norwich owners’ decision was inexplicable, antagonising, and naive. The whole reason fans are separated going into and out of stadia with designated walkways and so on, is to stop unnecessarily confrontational moments in the first place. Why the Norwich owners think they’re above that is highly questionable. If they’re calling for introspection, they can start with themselves -and ask if they made good decisions that day that were in everyone’s best interests and didn’t put anyone, let alone themselves, in precarious situations. |
| News Comment | Town Confirm Sarmiento Loan Signing at 20:49:06
I’m a real omari fan and think he’s been unlucky not to play more recently, super player and project and certainly scares oppo defenders. KMK is all about collecting diverse weaponry and omari has unique attributes, long may he stay |
