| News Comment | Chaplin Nominated For Goal of the Month at 10:47:51
Between Chappers and the Sunderland goal for me, but given how Barry Bannan got goal of the season the other year ahead of Celina it will probably go to Hugill |
| News Comment | Pert No Fan of 13-Minute Injury Time at 13:16:16
I'm all for it too after the antics of many teams over the last few years. It just needs refining in my view so that the clock stops, and so the game finishes at 90 minutes. Everyone will know the time left then, and players will be able to see when its stopped and that their timewasting is doing nothing. |
| News Comment | Charlton Boss Garner Charged By FA at 08:26:03
He has a point about the standard of refereeing, but we should have had a penalty which would have resulted in one of their subsequent goalscorers being sent off, plus Fridge was clearly fouled in the build up to their first |
| News Comment | Cook: It's Been a Really Tough Week at 11:10:40
Condolences on his Dad, but if we need experience as a team, then we had the perfect opportunity on Tuesday night...... |
| News Comment | Salary Cap Scrapped at 15:35:24
Good news for us, bad news for the game though I think. Seems odd that rugby has had a similar squad cap for several years, is that illegal too ? |
| News Comment | Town to Appeal Dozzell Red Card at 08:13:33
I don't understand managers who behave like Parkinson in this instance, why not just say it was a ridiculous penalty, it's not going to be taken away from him ! Steve Bruce went up in my estimation enormously after the crazy one they got at Spurs |
| News Comment | Beattie Statue Campaign Hits Target at 07:29:57
Great news, but Mark Murphy needs to take a look at himself about over hyping this. Next time he embargoes a story no-one will tune in because it will probably be the turnstiles getting painted |
| News Comment | Lambert: We'll Look at Whether to Appeal Red Card at 17:07:35
Really poor refereeing, I wish these refs would give these big decisions the respect they deserve. Too often the red card is out instantaneously (today, Knudsen at Wigan, Toto at Sheff Wed), given these decisions result in suspensions and often ruining games for spectators, I think refs should be instructed to take their time, consult linesmen etc |
| News Comment | East Anglian Derbies Switch to Sunday Noon Kick-Offs at 12:33:52
We missed a big chance last year, the derby up there was FA Cup 5th round day, if either team had got through they would have had to play it midweek. Behave then and we could have debunked the police advice, balls !! |
