I'm already in the area but after the last few weeks I'm not sure I can be bothered.

Town to Launch New Community Trust
at 09:26:51

The impact on the club and community by removing this in the first place was huge I never understood it, if done correctly it would cover any costs, provide a comprehensive scouting base and put ITFC into school, football clubs etc

I worked as a coach there for a few years and to this day don't understand why it was stopped

At least it appears that ME is listening to football people at last It will take time to repair the damage but it can be done

Town Topic: Memories of The Beat
at 20:25:09

I have 3 main memories of the Beat.

Firstly, as a player. Just a fantastic player, the perfect defender. I feel privileged to have seen him play many many times.

Played against him when he dropped to Sunday league and played for the Belstead Arms. Seeing him turn up to play was a mixture of being in awe and simply being unable to play against him. He was still too big, strong and powerful and scored with a header that nearly took the net off.

Thirdly, I met him in the fan zone and had a photo and a chat. He was so down to earth and gave everyone his time freely.

RIP Kevin.

Want to Play at Portman Road?
at 20:47:57

I did 5 and loved every one. It is a great experience and you meet real town fans who just want to play. I was captain for the last one with Alan Lee as manager for our team. I have played football for over 30 years and his team talk was the best I have ever heard. Brilliantly funny and he was a top man. Milts does a great job knitting it all together.

let's face it. It may the only game you enjoy at Portman road for some time !

Higginbotham Staying, Mohsni Going
at 13:11:57

Itfcjc

The fact Moshni is sitting in the stands rather than on the bench says it all

Passion is not enough.

Southend don't want him back as he is a trouble maker. Not as good as he thinks he is and certainly not what we need. Waste of a loan space

Different Types of Strikers: A Plea for Patience with Jay Emmanuel-Thomas
at 12:08:58

Like most fans, I get very frustrated with him. It is the lack of consistency and his laziness which gets to me.

Yes he can do some "magic" but all too infrequently for me.

A luxury we cannot afford in our present situation

Ainsley Signs Deal
at 13:44:02

Jack is a decent, nice lad and eveything that most profesional footballers are not these days in that he is also modest. I know him and know he wants to play for his local club so much but also knows that he has to work on some aspects of his game.

He is potentially a decent RB and if he can go out on loan, get experience and confidence then he might solve that problem area for us.

Locally born and from our own youth system, there are not many of those to shout about are there? Give the lad a break!!

Collins: Tiredness Played a Part
at 18:33:09

Complete nonsense, train only 2 hours a day (have the Monday off if they played saturday) best food, physio, nutrition, facilities etc etc

You would never hear Stuart Pearce say he was tired, he "worked" for living being becoming a footballer and knew just how lucky they are

Grrrr !!
