Spence is the worst footballer I have seen in an Ipswich shirt and am surprised he as even got the mark he has.
Ah well 7 new grounds for me next season. So sad for this once great Club but I'll still be there in Division One.

Not sure how the ref could get more than a one really, harrison constantly hauled over and then the downes challenge being a freekick?????

My marks would have been entirely different if it was based on the 1st half performance. Gifted goals by Chambers, Spence and Pennington. We deserve to be where we are, no way out now. Too little too late. Years of under investment has now caught up with us.

Can't see why Gerken has been marked down. The third goal was not his fault. Do referees get ongoing training because we have had three in a row. No wonder PL lost his rag.

How we walked away losing that I have no idea. Dominated 5he first 30, but then allowed them to rattle us. Spence did ok first half, but only because he didn’t have to defend at all. Got shown up second half. And to make it worse, he struts around arrogantly and has no fight in him. Needs to be dropped.
Signs of very exciting football but need to psychologically switch on. Best game by Harrison. Great control and gave their wobbly centre backs a hard time. Good to have bishop back. Looked good on the ball and tracked back well.
Really wish people would get off ME back. He’s invested a lot of money in the club and we are now league one bound. I hope he keeps lambert and backs us to get back up.

Great 1st half but too many errors 2nd half - both ours and the Refs

Should have had the game won by half time but didn’t take our chances. Milwall changed it at half time and bullied us onto the back foot. Individual errors then cost us dear!

We are not getting out of this. Sad times!

Scores are much more like a popularity contest these days than a fair reflection of the game....

Shows a majority of people aren't watching the game....

Good 1st half we were all over them 2nd half showed just how bad we are at the back especially Chambers and Spence absulote joke that they keep getting games and we haven't changed it up yet still hopeful though as there are enough games but we need to turn it around straight away

An excellent first half by Town, ahead with a fine early goal from the impressive Lankester, Harrison leading the line well (despite not getting anything from a very poor Ref), should have made the game safe had Sears had his shooting boots on.
The second half was a different matter. Millwall adding a more rugged approach to their game, bypassing midfield and hitting longer balls into the heart of our defence, which was found wanting. Keystone Cop defending saw our lead wiped out, and soon 3-1 down with costly mistakes being made by Chambers, Spence and Pennington for each of their goals. Jackson scored a blistering goal, but too close to the end for a chance of a fight back.
One thing that I noted, and it really gets my goat, why do we play these quick, short ball freekicks when we need to slow the game down, push players forward and deliver a longer ball? Have a look at how Millwall closed us down from such a freekick on our left, culminating with Chambers giving away a penalty, when being attacked from the right.
