Eiffel78 added 22:35 - Mar 3 Fleetwood are nothing special, but they made up for it with work rate, closing down, chasing and old fashioned effort. If certain Town players showed even half that of their Fleetwood counterparts, we'd be fighting it out for the title rather than stuck in this rut. Time to weed out the players just going through the motions and build a team around the youngsters who'd run through brick walls for this club, the likes of Wolfenden, Downes and Simpson with committed older players to guide them.

ottawafan added 22:51 - Mar 3 I though Dozzell was the class of the Town squad - Dozzell and the subs. I haven't gotmuch good to say about anyone else on the town side. Garbutt & Judge are certainly overrated. McGavin not ready.

BangTheBomb added 10:49 - Mar 4 The only player that came out of that with any credibility was Freddy Sears who cam eon and made a difference. I see Dozzell being praised but I am still yet to see anything that makes me feel he should be in our squad. Technically decent but seems to be completely ineffective. Holys kicking was awful - nothing going anywhere near our 'supposed' target man, Keane. Defence was just very average - their goal looked far too easy. On the wings, Donacien was next to useless, and didn't ever seem to want the ball. Garbett is a shadow of his former self and his crossing and decision making was very poor. Nolan and McGavin may as well not been on the pitch. Judge - again, another player who seems to provide zero threat despite the 'hype' - just runs around a lot. Simpson looks like a bit of a lump but again nothing else in the locker. Keane - I just don't know what to say - has the odd good touch and pass, but never even looks like scoring a goal and can't win a header to save his life. As to the tam selection tonight, what the hell was PL thinking? We actually did not play that badly against Blackpool, so why all the changes I don't know. If we hadn't had such a good start we would be in a relegation scrap right now. Players look lost. when you have most players getting ratings of 2-3 out of ten (at home) against a very average League 1 side you know something is seriously wrong.

Maltster added 17:10 - Mar 4 Poor old Holy had to boot the ball upfield because no one made themselves available for a pass. I think that P.L. has decided that he doesn't want promotion ,that's why he picked the team he did!
