New loan signing James Scowcroft will make his second Town debut on Friday night when the Blues face Preston North End at Deepdale (KO 7.45pm). Scowcroft will replace the injured Shefki Kuqi.

Leicester midfielder Keith Gillespie will face no action for instigating a tunnel bust-up after his side had been defeated 2-1 at Portman Road on Saturday. The Northern Irish international punched Town loanee Danny Karbassiyoon as the players made their way to the dressing rooms.

Town's U18s comfortably defeated Aston Villa 3-1 in the FA Youth Cup to set up a quarter-final tie against Colchester United at Layer Road. The Blues went three ahead through Liam Craig, Cathal Lordan and Billy Clarke, before Michael Tuohy pulled one back for the visitors.

The Town youngsters dominated from the start and Billy Clarke signalled their intent with a couple of blocked shots inside the first three minutes. Strike partner Darryl Knights did well to bring the ball down shortly afterwards but his shot flew well wide.

Town have announced that season ticket prices will increase 5% on average for 2005/06 regardless of which league the Blues are playing in. The club have brought the renewal process forward earlier than in previous years, with the cut-off date for early season ticket purchases April 15th.

Season ticket prices have been frozen for four years and chairman David Sheepshanks says he hopes that fans will understand that a price rise was inevitable: "This is the first increase in four years which I hope supporters will recognise as being fair."

Striker Shefki Kuqi is back in Finland recovering from the thigh injury which will keep him out for just over a month. The Finnish international has a deep gash to his leg, picked up in a clash with Leicester's Dion Dublin on Saturday.

Town's U18s are in FA Youth Cup fifth round action against Aston Villa at Portman Road this evening (KO 7pm). If the youngsters are victorious they face Colchester United at Layer Road in round six.
