Proudlock Wants to Stay Tuesday, 15th Nov 2005 10:35 On-loan striker Adam Proudlock says he is keen to stay at Portman Road after his short-term spell is up in January. The 24-year-old joined the Blues in October after being sacked for repeated breaches discipline at Sheffield Wednesday. Town and the Owls agreed a loan to circumvent transfer window restrictions and the frontman told the club site that he couldn't have asked for a better move: "I have fallen on my feet really, getting a chance to show what I can do at a club like Ipswich. "I owe Joe Royle a lot for giving me a second chance and want to repay him for the faith he has shown in me. "I know I have joined a fantastic football club. It's a bonus to me, being here. I'm playing, training and enjoying my football, and I'd like to build a career for myself here. "I've got until January to prove myself first but, hopefully, I can then win a longer deal here until the end of the season at least and then see where we go from there."
