Chief executive Derek Bowden says that the club has not ruled out the possibility of a second Town share issue, but is not something which will happen immediately.

Bowden said: "I've seen the stories but another share issue is not something we are considering at the moment.

"We have not ruled out the possibility of it happening at some stage but it is certainly not something we have discussed or will be looking at in the immediate future."

Back at November's AGM, chairman David Sheepshanks said that a second share issue was something which was under consideration, with funds going towards helping Joe Royle build his squad: "We are keeping this under constant review. It would be on the basis that all proceeds would go to strengthen the squad."
