Davis in Reserves
Davis in Reserves
Wednesday, 3rd Nov 2004 13:32

First-choice keeper Kelvin Davis returns to action for the reserves away against West Ham this evening after more than a month on the sidelines due to a back injury (KO 7pm).

Davis was an unused sub for the senior side during last night's 5-1 thrashing of Sheffield United and could well make his first team comeback in Saturday's game at Burnley.

Striker Pablo Couñago is the only other player with extensive first team experience making the trip to east London, the Spaniard playing up front alongside Dean Bowditch. As usual, the rest of the side is made up of Academy youngsters.

Town's second string are currently bottom of the FA Premier Reserve League (South) and are still looking for their first win of the season.

West Ham, who have won only one match themselves, play their reserve games at Dagenham and Redbridge's Victoria Road.

Town side: Kelvin Davis, Adem Atay, Liam Craig, Scott Mitchell, Aidan Collins, Chris Hogg, Daniel Flack, Liam Manning, Pablo Couñago, Dean Bowditch, Antonio Murray. Subs: Darryl Knights, Shane Supple, Ben Patten, James Krause, Kieron Leabon.
