A young reserve side travels to south London this evening to face Charlton Athletic at the Valley (KO 7pm). With the club's 18 senior players away recharging their batteries, manager Steve McCall picks what is virtually an academy team.

Nabil Abidallah, Lewis Price and Dean Bowditch are the most senior names involved, while new boys from Ford United Jerome Sobers and Ben Patten are also included in the starting line-up.
