What a surprise, Arniem with yer another negative comment which is blatantly untrue. We are actually top of the EFL1 current form table taken over each teams last 6 matches.
Please do one ArnieM

Cadiar - we're still playing poorly. What's your point?

Cadiar's one of many in denial over home results and performances. They point to the very good overall stats such as position, points and top of the last 6 form overall, while ignoring the fact that our last 4 home games have brought us just 5 points and 3 goals, and bedwet when anyone dares to suggest that home performances and results must improve. After all the vast majority of us only give our time and money to supporting the Town at Portman Road. Home games matter.

Seems a bit mad making ko earlier. 12pm beers, then in town after the game for 5 hours before ko. The local police will be busy if we go out, with some very sore heads for many who overindulge but don't like pillocks.

Never tell with #arniem. Normally posts ITFC are crap and will get beaten no matter who we play…definitely a budgie in disguise.

I predict a 2 -1 win for Peterborough...with both posh goals coming in injury time.....just a feeling I've got and I can't think why???????

This should be a 27,000 crowd but the 12 30 kick off will deter a lot of people. Do the powers that be really give two hoots about the fans.

Our home form is not wonderful but we are playing good football and creating chances. Not so long ago, under a previous manager, we were playing 90 minutes without a shot on goal. We have lost just two games and probably should have won a few of the draws but that's football. Teams in this division are not, as some believe, useless pushovers. We are a big team in this league and for many teams playing us is a huge match and they respond with extra effort and determination. Also the style we play can be disrupted and teams do their best to stop us playing expansive football. Other managers will watch hours of town playing and plan accordingly and some will do a good job on us. Things are so much better this season and will continue to improve but never forget that unexpected results can and will happen. There are probably a few Plymouth fans moaning as well and they are top.

Cadiar : I was actually referring to POSH being on a shocking run of form! They've lost probably their last 4-5 games? Idiot

Bobbybell an intelligent and well considered post, 100% agree with all that!

@Linkboy - yes, the powers that be DO care about fans. The early kick off, like several other games, are arranged to allow both home and away fans time to get home and get organised for wherever they want to watch the England game in the evening.
On another matter, why is there so much bickering amongst posters on TWTD? After so many years of stale, boring football, we are at last seeing some excellent passages of play, we are sitting in the top two with huge attendances yet some are still unhappy that we are not steamrollering teams at home. We have only lost two games with the season almost at the halfway stage: Wigan and Rotherham were promoted last season despite at least seven losses. We are one of three teams who are averaging over 2 points per game and are in the top five goal scorers in the entire PL and EFL divisions, so what is not to like, yet Blueboy keeps insisting that there is “STILL MUCH TO DO!!!!”
Watching Spain v Morocco yesterday was so similar to Town trying to break down those teams bringing packed defences to Portman Rd so it is not just us who have problems breaking down this style of anti-football.
We will see more of this to come as the season progresses which is unfortunate for our huge home crowds but the old adage of “win your home games and draw your away games to achieve success “ is being reversed this season as we are so far much more prolific away from home. So, while it is frustrating at home just enjoy the whole picture as we head to a successful climax to the season. COYB

Orraman, don't be silly, exaggerating as bedwetters do. Nobody expects us to steamroller anyone. Overall things are good, but is it really too much to expect the manager with his coaches and analists to come up with a way to overcome opposition defensive tactics at home, they're nothing new, Cheltenham did it last season and came back again recently and did it again! The fact that such tactics work occasionally in the world cup is irrelevant we're at a much lower level of ability in our division. Perhaps a much lower level of coaching too, but I remain cautiously optimistic that McK will achieve something.

Bobbybell 👏🏻 the actual only intelligent comment on this post mingled amongst all the normal tripe we get from the same people who go quiet when we win games.
You wouldnt think we're second and only lost 2 league games (the least losses in the league) first half of the season 🙄
