Season Ticket Sales Surpass 15,000
Friday, 13th May 2022 17:36

Season ticket sales for 2022/23 have surpassed the 15,000 mark, the club has announced.

The total currently stands at 15,133, already significantly higher than 2021/22’s ultimate figure of 13,800.

The Blues are on target for a 13-year season ticket sales high, having sold 15,900 following Roy Keane’s appointment as boss ahead of 2009/10.

Full details on season ticket prices, which have been frozen, can be found here.

Lets just hope what's in the stands is matched by what's on the pitch...the players have to react! Support at the club really deserves more!

Are you watching Mick McSnore!?

VanDusen added 21:28 - May 13
Yeah right TBT. If Mick had had the sort of backing the yanks had given us now we'd have been in the top flight just like he got Sunderland and Wolves out. He did amazingly on Evans' shoestring to keep us in the top half for all but one season.

Instead we are now about to see a 4th season in the 3rs tier and no prospect even if we get up again to be anywhere near where he had us even just five years ago (top half, above Norwich) without an awful lot more investment.

Fantastic decision from the numbskulls to hound him out - was that the grand plan?

vanDusen you have obviously never been to Portman road% MM did ok at the beginning but was the cause of us getting relegated and walked away when he knew that we were finished. I took my kids to every game from a young age and the football was disgustingly bad. Appaling. Careful for what u wish for. No thanks. Dinosaur who ruined our club

Van dusen
True what you say but feck me the football was the most boring

That's the big conundrum isn't it. If MM had been given the resources would the style of football still have been boring or would he have been able to build a team with more flair
Unfortunately we will never know.
So the best we can do is work with our current situation, support the team and club and hopefully get promotion

that's fantastic. If I lived a lot closer I'd definitely be getting a couple. Looks like we are getting our club back

Its great news, and hopefully during the summer we will add 1500 or so more.
My real hope though is that these are really extras, not from people who went to every game last season anyway. MA has his eye on a 28000 average, my instincts tell me that's the trigger point at which we can start making PR bigger and better, so personally when the ST number hits 18000, and assuming visitors and casual purchases add another 10k, then ill start doing cartwheels.
Come on blue army, we can fill it!

Some will wait to see how we start performing then decide it might be worth purchasing the half season tickets that we normally offer. It will be an exciting season with many highs and lows come what may. Hopefully we will have promotion. COYB's.

That is a massive number by League One standards; most teams would be delighted to have an attendance of 15,000, let alone that many season ticket holders.

It should give us plenty of room on the wages front bearing in mind the salary cap rules.

Van Dusen, did you actually ever go to PR when MM was the so called manager. Totally boring non football. I sometimes wondered if I was watching rugby league. An appalling manager arrogant, bloated head & incompetent. Ask the Cardiff fans, he didn't last long there or in Cyprus. Don't think he will get another job in English football.

Van Dusen suggest you ask Sunderland and wolves fans then they couldn't wait to get rid of him either. He has a two guest shelf life where he gets the most out of players then that's it both got relegated through him and our team was on the way down before he left go check or go to games would be good. We also haven't spent that much we sold to buy for the most part and took dead wood off our wages
