Shocking defending for their goal, from another angle at first glimpse I thought it was a well constructed goal but is aided by our defence all moving towards the player on the ball without looking at opponents around them then left in the open, schoolboy stuff!...people bang on about missed opportunities from us, what one's? no clear chances going by that.

Deliberate stamp by Jackson or a clumsy untangling of legs ? Looks more like the latter but perhaps I'm biased.

Im digging in for a long stay in Div 1 if we're lucky . Next season Downes and Wolfenden will be sold with no adequate replacements brought .The team gets weaker every season and our youngsters are grossly overrated. And why are we playing Edwards at right back he tucks inside too much and gets caught out of position.

Who is responsible for organising the defence because there was none for their goal, how Edwards just strolls back having failed to cut out a pass is truly shocking, you will see more effort on a Sunday morning! We look very weak at RB without KVY

The pitch greened up nicely at half time - there's a positive.

Agree with Timmy H....maybe it's my old memory but cannot think of a decent save their keeper had to make. It's not like we were hitting the crossbar...posts or forcing terrific saves from their keeper. Oxfords goal was well executed....but awful...awful defending. They were really poor...we were even poorer...

Even if we did somehow make 6th spot come close of season....don't believe we can go up. It's another season in Division 3 (AKA league 1) to look forward to. So much promise initially....but this team looks so disjointed now. Lambert has got one hell of a job to turn this around.....

I think for the goal young Woolfenden was somewhat responsible for moving from his man, but Chambers should have been aware a little more. He'll learnt from that. Chambo with more experience should have spotted that even with tired and older legs. I'm tempted to say three at the back isn't working for the "better" teams or certain opposition formations but for that goal we had plenty of cover, just lost orientation and focus. Some jogged back and gave up without even trying. You cant work with attitudes like that unless they change. Seems like a mix of arrogance, laziness, and some even seem comfortable staying in this division, which is about their level. I sometimes wonder if they want to stay in this division as they have a chance of the odd win. Have no change back in the championship. So sad to hear me say those words.

As for the sending off, well, from the highlights I cant see how the ref could have even seen that clearly from that distance with several bodies in the way. Yellow at worst, but free kick most sensible. Softest of sending off without seemingly any malice which will need justifying, but I reckon a huge bit of play acting got the final nail in the coffin. Pathetic.

Sorry, but yet another goal leaked from our RB going absent. Come back Kane, we surely need you!
