Town Launch School and Care Home Programme Donation Scheme
Wednesday, 30th Oct 2019 10:51

Town are launching a new scheme which will see unsold matchday programmes donated to local primary schools and care homes.

The club often have a significant number of programmes left from general sales, as well as hospitality and press areas which otherwise would not be put to use.

Town’s public relations manager Dan Palfrey outlined the thinking behind the idea.

“We hope with this new scheme we can further our engagement with the younger generation, whilst also not neglecting the older generation who might not be able to attend games anymore,” he told the club site.

If you’re from a local primary school or care home and would like to apply for this scheme, email dan.palfrey@itfc.co.uk.

What a lovely & also very clever idea. The link & connection between the Club and the community is strengthened once again by this. I'm sure both young & old will not only enjoy reading about 'THEIR own local club', but will also encourage families to come back to see the Blues on matchday. Well done ITFC !
