Drinan Added to Irish U21 Squad
Sunday, 13th Oct 2019 10:07

Blues striker Aaron Drinan has been added to the Republic of Ireland U21s squad ahead of Tuesday’s European Championships qualifier against Iceland in Reykjavik.

Drinan is currently on loan with Swedish second-tier side GAIS for whom he has made five starts and one sub appearance without scoring.

The 21-year-old, who joined Town from Waterford in January 2018, has previously won five U21 caps.

The Cork-born frontman, who earlier this year spent time back on loan at Waterford, is contracted to the Blues until the summer of 2021 with the club having an option for a further season.

Agree it would be good to see him come good.
That being said with Norwood, Jackson, Keane.
Then the younger lads Lankester, Morris, Folami etc I find it doubtful.
