Woolfenden Returns as Blues Face Fleetwood
Saturday, 5th Oct 2019 14:29

Town boss Paul Lambert makes one change for this afternoon’s top-of-the-table clash with Fleetwood at Highbury with Luke Woolfenden coming into the side and Alan Judge dropping to the bench.

Woolfenden returns to his usual role in the Blues’ back three with Cole Skuse moving into midfield and Jon Nolan taking up the more advanced central role.

Fleetwood are unchanged from the team which won 3-0 at Shrewsbury last week.

Fleetwood: Cairns, Coyle, Andrew, Souttar, Burns, Dempsey, Evans, Morris, Dunne, Coutts, Rossiter. Subs: Gilks, Clarke, Madden, Hunter, Biggins, Sowerby, Sheron.

Town: Holy, Vincent-Young, Woolfenden, Chambers, Wilson, Garbutt, Skuse, Downes, Nolan, Jackson, Norwood. Subs: Norris, Huws, Edwards, Dozzell, Judge, Rowe, Georgiou. Referee: Carl Boyeson (East Yorkshire).

Perhaps our strongest 11, until Huws is back to 100%. Come on you blues!

I agree with Bluemachines. This is potentially our strongest current line up, with a 100% Huws potentially to improve it. PL clearly wanting a win today.

We have Sears to come back as well , think he could do some real damage in this division.
