Third QPR Judge Bid Was Rejected - Report
Monday, 29th Jul 2019 17:43

It’s reported that Town rejected a third bid of £600,000 from QPR for midfielder Alan Judge prior to the West Londoners giving up their chase for the Republic of Ireland international.

On Saturday, Rangers boss Mark Warburton said that he expected Judge to stay at Town, admitting that his recruitment of former AFC Bournemouth man Marc Pugh on a free transfer was “probably” as a result of the Blues knocking back his bids for the 30-year-old, who previously played for him at Brentford.

Town were known to have rebuffed offers of £250,000 and £450,000 and Football Insider claims a further bid of £600,000 was rejected by Blues owner Marcus Evans, presumably prior to Warburton admitting his pursuit was over.

As reported on Friday, owner Evans is determined to keep Judge, who signed a new two-year deal in April, and Andre Dozzell, the subject of interest but so far not bids from Premier League clubs including Norwich City, at Portman Road for the Blues’ League One campaign.

No fan (super fan or regular) are happy with the situation...but you spout crap in a mission to replace ME. Who on earth do you think he is blocking from taking over???? You're in dream land if you think some oil tycoon is itching to buy our club. Once there is an alternative I'm sure fans will let their feelings known.Be a little more practical.
How do you envisage the club gains back pride and passion?

This utter apathy Rob, it really does discredit town fans to a huge degree. No where else would there be such acceptance and passivity? Newcastle protest Ashley but they are in the prem and he is spending! We are a third rate joke compared to Norwich at the moment. Whether there is a viable alternative presently is immaterial. The depths we have sunk to are simply not good enough, the continued under investment will not end well. Bookies have us sliding down the favourites table by the day as they realise our broken plan A is the only plan available. Pride and passion has to come from the top. Evans actions exhibit anything but for me. Someone recently said he's not even bothered about football!! If no one is buying then his price is too high. When he took over our debt was what 30m?Now its 90m or so and he's taken 12 years to take us down a league. He also charges us interest on the debt. There is no one at ITFC that should be defending that man. Pride and passion will come from winning games and getting promoted. Whilst we will win games I don't believe we will go up next season and that will once again be the fault of our inept owner and the fans that passively sit by and watch him without taking action.

Ok....point taken. Let's stage a mass protest and push him out. What's the best way for us to get this changed quickly? How can be bond together and get this done?

As I believe you well know I have started a Facebook group Evans out of ITFC. Living in Liverpool it was the only action I felt able to take living so far away. Once numbers are sufficient demonstrations and protests will be organised to get him to shape up or ship out. For the lack of any such protests to date, he probably doesn't even know/realise we are unhappy with him!!
