QPR Linked With Judge
Tuesday, 11th Jun 2019 17:01

QPR are reported to be eyeing a move for Blues midfielder Alan Judge.

According to the Daily Mirror, Hoops manager Mark Warburton is keen on a reunion with Judge who previously played for him at Brentford.

The 30-year-old, who broke his wrist when in action for the Republic of Ireland on Friday, only signed a new two-year contract with the Blues in April, so it would be a big surprise if Town were willing to allow him to move on should there prove to be something in the report.

In addition, QPR would appear unlikely to be in a position to tempt the Blues following the £42 million settlement of their FFP breach in January.

Judge, just signed a new 2 year deal with us knowing we were going to be playing in League 1 - It hasnt harmed his chances to play for Ireland. We need to play him as a Num10 in the hole like another poster said, build teh team around him and smah up the league.

We need top level championship players to get out of league 1, we need to keep our best. This is Warburton tipping off the press to try and prize him away.

QPR can do one!

I suggest their manager does what he's best at and makes himself a sandwich

QPR linked with judge? Not the first time they have had a brush with the law, is it?

If there is any truth in this then Judge will hopefully not want to offend the Brentford fans as bear in mind Brentford and QPR don't like each other at all!

Would be surprised if there is anything in this. QPR would have to pay a fee which wouldn't be a small amount and I doubt they'd be willing to do that anyway for a player who is 30 and just finding his way again after a terrible injury.

Judge is going to be an important player for us next season! His energy and creativity are excellent.

Also aren't Brentford and QPR rivals and isn't he seen as a fan favourite at Brentford??

for the right price he can go we have enough talent that are younger and not broken. All I see is he demands the ball then nothing much happens

It is the Daily Mirror after all. It has not printed a true or noteworthy story in the 51 years i have been on this planet so not overly worried about this tenuous link !!

yet again , similar to Bart being linking with millwall, i would rather play for town in league 1 than QPR in championship, they change their manager every 5 minutes, no stability at that club.

Lets hope they have deep pockets if ITFC are even considering this one. Fake News (hopefully)
