Season Ticket Total Over 11,000
Friday, 3rd May 2019 18:29

Town’s 2019/20 season ticket total is now over 11,000 with more than 90 per cent of current season ticket holders having renewed ahead of the Blues’ first third tier campaign in 62 years.

The number of season ticket holders now stands at 11,068 ahead of the early bird deadline on Bank Holiday Monday.

If the total hits the 12,000 mark then 10 per cent will be knocked off the price fans pay for their seats with further reductions if the 13,000 and 14,000 milestones are passed.

“I think that’s amazing support, to get more season ticket holders for next year than we’ve had this year after being relegated,” manager Paul Lambert told the club site.

“The club has got to be delighted with that figure. That shows you what a fantastic fanbase the club has and we’re going to need that support again next season.”

Hope people stop using the price as a reason for not going to games now, works out at £14 a game in the north stand... 11,000 is disappointing, hope there are VERY limited matchday ticket promotions next season, time to reward the season ticket holders

Itfc has become a pay as you go club.
If the players are up for it and up to it.
Then fans of the club will be also.
There's enough seats to go round if the team is flying.

League 1 dross. Understandable why people don't want to commit to every single game. Me being one. Half season ticket less of a risk, for my own mental state!

Hahaha Fantastic! 😀😀. It just keeps going up and up 🙆‍♂️🙆‍♂️! Over 11,000 already and believe me it will be more and more! Come on, if your not sure or thinking about it JUST DO IT 😎. Lets make next years atmosphere electric, ignore the doomsmen. Even if your angry at Evans or Chambers do it for the club....for the very idea of ITFC! We have to come back from this....WE ARE THE CLUB....BLUE RUNNING THROUGH OUR VEINS 😀😀😀😀

Couldn't stand another season like the last three, let alone this one.
So I'll be waiting on pre season, waiting on Lambo to get all deals done.
Then, and only then will I decide if I want to continue handing over any more of my hard earned.

A good win this weekend may make a few of those doubters renew. I hope so. Now is the time to get behind the club and make it happen in the ground. We all know where we are, we all have opinions on what has gone wrong and what should have been. Support is unconditional surely. Not based on what division otherwise that is glory hunting. Get behind our ten now and be supporters I feel they need us like never before. It cost me over £100 to even get to a game from where I live with my daughters I don't care about the 10% I just want us united.

I'll be 100% committed if the clubs on the same page.....and I won't know that until July.
Is the whole club really going to go for it next season? Is the owner going to really be up for promotion? I'll wait for some evidence 1st....if it's a yes, yes then I'll be in....again for the 40 something season.

I understand some of the fans on here being sceptical. They want to see how much ME wants to come straight back up as we all do. I bought mine and my two sons last week. I want to believe that PL and ME also want promotion, so that is why I have played my part.

Evans should link his investment levels to the season ticket numbers next time around. "If 15,000 sign up, I'll stick in £5 million extra for player sales etc.."

Understandable if ITFCsince73 is 'half in half out' as put, what has the club done ambition wise over the last few seasons? and what quality players we did get in soon went out the window replaced by largely donkey's. The owner keeps taking, and okay a slight reduction in ticket prices but you'd expect that considering the likes of teams like Accrington, Wycombe, Wimbledon and Rochdale to come, hardly mouthwatering stuff!

Sign Norwood and season ticket sales might well reach the magic 14k mark! Although it seems I'm one of the few that got excited about Norwood as whenever I've mentioned him doesn't seem that much general enthusiasm about him. Maybe we all feel a bit burned after Jackson and Harrison. Jackson did show some glimpses of what he's capable of (his goal against Millwall was fantastic for example) but nobody can deny he fell well short this season of expectations. Harrison looked superb against West Ham, again he showed some glimpses that he could be a very good player, but again nowhere near enough consistency. I wouldn't be surprised if one of those two isn't here still come the start of next season. The question is should we let one of them go, which one would be the best one to keep? Or would the club wait and see if any offers come in for either and then decide based on that? If we did let Jackson go I can't imagine we would get anything like what we paid for him.

This has to be positive news. The prophets of doom were forecasting thousands less probably to justify their ongoing reluctance to commit. I don't have a problem with anyone saying it is not for them but still too may TWTD posters gagging to say something negative when there is actually something positive happening. We all know that strikers are needed, and more, so swell the numbers to encourage the owner's investment rather than sniping.

Jollyblue. No not waiting for lots of signings....just a bit of quality, as were in serious lack of supply on that front.
Alfromcol. No far from it....just my patience is wearing very thin, very quick.
I spend £1000,s per season supporting the club, and have done for many years.
Now getting to the stage, and to the age, where those £1000,s may be better spent on more important things in life. Where it's appreciated. Something I haven't felt from the club since administration. And no the thought of giving up precious time from work watching us play Bury or Lincoln fills me with no enthusiasm, just embarrassment.

I can't help but think that even if we did get near the 12k mark by close of play Monday the club would state it's just under to save them the additional 10% lost revenue!

That said, I've already signed up again so I'm one of the fans that will be staying and supporting my team what ever League I'm in...

How some are so confident in our total garbage squad of getting promotion beggars belief! Accrington Stanley showed us up only 4 months ago.. they sit mid table.. exactly where we will finish if our bent owner doesn't put his hand in his pocket and back lambert! Quick enough to want our money.. how about you spend a little on just 2-3 quality players! Over to you the worst owner in English football.................

Not all down to Evans, Lambert carries the can from now. He has got to find a Pukki and one or two more of similar quality. As that lot up the road have proved it is not about throwing money about.
