Young Duo Could Win Caps
Wednesday, 20th Mar 2019 10:04

Town youngsters Dylan Crowe and Kian Ronan could add to their international caps later today.

Crowe, still to sign a pro deal with the Blues with clubs home and abroad understood to be eyeing him, is with the England U18s at the UAE Sports Chain Cup in Dubai where they play Japan in their opening match this afternoon.

The 17-year-old right-back has previously won two caps with the U18s having played for England teams at U15, U16 and U17 levels.

Ronan, 18, who, as we reported yesterday is among the young players being released at the end of the season, is with the Gibraltar U21s and will win his second cap at that level if he is involved in their European Championships qualifier in Cyprus, also this afternoon.

With the problems we've had at right back over the past couple of seasons it strikes me as a bit odd that someone who has represented England at U15, U16 and U17 (and maybe now U18) level has not been given a chance to show what he can do ?

Yes i agree drewcudders as I've said before the club are protecting their prize asset from injury as hes not even turning out for the youth team think you'll find he will be moving on next year to a premier league club as was the case with Ben Knights to Liverpool.

Linkboy13.... I fear you may be right.... shame if he's not getting a chance at ITFC for that reason though, what a waste of his talents.....
