Evening With Osman Raising Funds For Beattie Statue
Thursday, 17th Jan 2019 18:00

The South West Branch of the Supporters Club is holding an evening with Blues legend Russell Osman this Friday evening (January 18th) with all proceeds donated to The Beat Goes On, the campaign raising money to build a statue of Kevin Beattie.

The venue will be Horts, 49 Broad Street, Bristol, BS1 2EP, from 7.30pm for an 8pm start. Entry on the night will be £10.

Osman recently joined his former team-mates Terry Butcher and Trevor Putney on Life’s a Pitch for an interview which was shown live on Facebook Live by Radio Suffolk.

The Beat Goes On, the campaign raising funds for a statue of Blues legend Beattie, was launched last month.

Donations can be made online via the Go Fund Me page or send a cheque made payable to ‘The Beat Goes On’ to Kevin Beattie Statue Appeal, EADT, Portman House, 120 Princes Street, Ipswich, IP11RS.

There are also collection buckets at reception at the EADT’s offices and at BBC Radio Suffolk.
