Dozzell, Bishop, Nsiala and Donacien in Action for U23s
Monday, 10th Dec 2018 10:29

Andre Dozzell, Teddy Bishop, Toto Nsiala and Janoi Donacien will all feature when the Blues’ table-topping U23s take on second-placed QPR at Playford Road this afternoon (KO 1pm).

Gerard Nash’s side will be looking to get back to winning ways after losing for only the second time this season when they were beaten 2-0 at Millwall a fortnight ago. They remain unbeaten at home.

The West Londoners are two points behind Town in the Professional Development League Two South table, also having lost only twice during 2018/19. The teams drew 2-2 in the fixture at QPR’s Harlington training ground in October.

U23s: Wright, Cotter, Kenlock, Nsiala, Donacien, Dozzell (c), Rowe, El Mizouni, Drinan, Bishop, Folami. Subs: Egan, McGavin, Ndaba, McLoughlin, K Brown.

Will be interesting to see who steps up and in particular who can show 1st team how to score. Too many have been miss firing and don't take their chances.

True, but massive difference between Championship and U23 levels .

Not sure that's true now. Lankaster has made it and thought Morris Folami and Wolfy were as good as those currently in 1st team. But guess their chances maybe limited when PL works his magic in January.

Could do with at least 4 new faces quick, to inject some intelligence in the first team. A lot of our so called TEAM have had time to produce the goods, but haven't nearly enough. Worthless throwing total blame on past coaches. All our current players need to step up. The BEST footballers are never content, even after large success

Excellent post runningout.

The players are giving their all but not yet got the experience/intelligence to think ahead or beyond one pass.

And that's not meant in a detrimental way whatsoever.

Lets hope Lambert sorts this out. And fast!!!
