Blues youngster Ben Folami could win his first Australia U19s cap this afternoon when the Young Socceroos take on South Korea in their opening game at the AFC U19 Championship in Indonesia.

Folami, 19, has been with the squad for the last couple of weeks at a training camp in Singapore.

The frontman, who made two starts and three sub appearances for the Blues first team last season, scored his first goal for the U19s in a 2-1 victory in a training game against Malaysian club Johor Darul Ta’zim’s U21 side eight days ago and also featured in a 1-0 victory over a Singapore Selection side on Monday.

Following today’s match, the Australian youngsters take on Vietnam on Monday and then Jordan next Thursday.
