U18s Lose at QPR But Stay Top

Town’s U18s were beaten 2-1 by QPR at Heston Sports Ground on Saturday morning but remain top of the Professional Development League Two South table.

Zak Brown (pictured) netted the Blues’ goal from the penalty spot in the sixth minute but was sent off 13 minutes from time for second bookable offence.

Despite the defeat, the Town youngsters, who are coached by Adem Atay and Kieron Dyer, remain top of the league on goal difference from Cardiff, who were beaten 3-2 at Coventry.

U18s: Egan, O’Reilly (Dobra 35), Scott, Vega, T Smith, Healy, K Brown (Ruffles 46), Ronan, Foudil (Armin 62), Z Brown, Hughes. Unused: Alley, Viral.
